About Laxmi Public School
The school origin extends back in the year 1980, 19th January with only 6 students and 1 teacher in a rented house in Laxmi Nagar. Within 12 years of its inception, a small school flourished into a big institution with good number of students and teachers over the years. At that time Mrs Gupta (Principal, Nav Shakti School, Founder-Laxmi Public School) handed over the responsibility of running the school to Mrs. Shukla Malhotra and Mrs Malhotra under the expert guidance of Mrs Gupta (Educationist and Builder of Nation) was able to help her in fulfilling her dream changing into reality.
Marching ahead in 1982, Ms Nirmal Bhasin joined the Institution as (Head Mistress). With determined mind and combined efforts, the school got recognition in the year 1985 January upto 8th standard. The journey of moving forward kept on and in the year 1987 to 1989, the school was upgraded to the 10th & 12th standard respectively. The School first ever batch of students appeared for board exams in 1993 with good position and distinction.With relentless efforts, clear vision, thought & dynamism, the School which came into existence in 1980 has grown over the last four decades to become one of the leading CBSE affiliated schools in East Delhi. Laxmites have consistently excelled in all domains of education.
The School feels proud in growing from strength to strength and imparting education of global standards that combines both traditional & modern. Inculcating in students quality of both head & the heart, thus guiding them towards a new consciousness as citizens of the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The school is famous for taking active part in sports activities. It is located at karkardooma industrial area. Upto 12th level, the school has good staff and sports coach. Fees is also under budget. Just opposite KVS AGVC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laxmi Public School is worst place to put children. The management is poorly educated. Even they do have formal training to run the school. And greedy people. The high court of Delhi verdict for refund of excess fee collected is more than a year now but this school is dam greedy and not following the order of Honble court and I will be forced to take legla rout to file case of contempt of court if the fee is not refunded immediate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I studied here from KG to 12th. My whole childhood revolved around this school. This was my family. I was good at studies, and shool helped me a lot in it. The teachers are super helpful and friendly. I spent my 14 years of life in sitting on those desks and playing in that ground and court.
I really miss this place.
