★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buy the tickets using online portal as it's much quicker. The QR code to the website will be displayed outside the tickets counter at the palace too.
The palace is really nice experience as it's filled with beautiful statues and marvelous paintings (honestly Painter Ravi Verma now holds a very high place in my heart). Writing more about the palace would ruin your visit so it's better you go and see it for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Grand Palace from outside, but a let down when visited.
We waited almost 45 minutes to buy tickets. There was one agent selling tickets and he was super slow. Feeding every guest's name and phone number into his system. Some people almost gave up. And there was frustration all around.
The entrance into the palace is near a haphazard parking area. There are no photographs allowed inside the palace. Visitors have to pay a hefty 250 Rupees (that is a lot more than the Taj for Indian nationals). The ticket is alright, but there are barely any rooms to see. The entire visit can be wrapped up in 15 minutes. Having seen other forts and palaces, this was a real let down. The palace looks grand but unkempt from outside. Weeds and plants are growing on the terrace. The gardens are nt well kept either. The golf course makes the grounds look nice.
We were really let down by the experience. I wish the palace is turned into a hotel and therefore can relive its glorious past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place.. 375 cost per person for both palace and museum.. you get the audio with any language you prefer to hear all the details with good description.. lot of collection of historical things... good collection.. lot of birds and animals around.. we get to see peacock as well.. overall. Nice experience..

Price of tickets as per today is for adult 325- combo (museum+palace) only for palace 250 , only for meuseum 150.
They are giving personal guide as an Audio device which will guide you in your preferred language (Gujarati, Hindi, English, french, Marathi ect.) At every place of the palace. The device will tell you the detail history of that area and even every possible stories related to every monuments and area. There is 10-11 sites in the palace which you have to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a beautiful palace, worth a visit if you are in Vadodara. They will give you a recorded tape that you carry and listen as you reach various sections of the palace. The sections are marked and you go in that order. Photography is not allowed indoors. There is a small area for some snacks , tea coffee inside. The lawns and the greenery/trees are well maintained.

Spread across almost 700 acres & with 170 rooms, its a very well maintained palace & a portion of it is still used by the royal family. The ticket price is Rs 250 per person which includes audio guide & does a good job in explaining the palace. I felt that the pricing was slightly on higher side but shouldn't stop you from visiting this marvelous structure. A must visit & highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This exquisite palace was built by the Gaekwad family. Ticket price is 250rs for Adult. I had paid online for the ticket twice by mistake, which was eventually refunded by the management later.
They also have audio guides in many languages to assist you comprehend the palace's history.
Photography is prohibited inside the palace.
The staff is kind and willing to assist you with anything you need. Inside the palace, there is also a store where you can buy souvenirs and other items. A must-see attraction in Baroda.
