LIC has over 2500 branches all over India and theses branches are operating under 100 zonal offices. LIC has Central Office i.e. Corporate Office at Mumbai.
Life Insurance Advisors and the employees are real devoted people taking lots of efforts to keep the torch of LIC high. At the same time, beloved policy holders of LIC are real backbone of this giagantic organisation.
LIC has huge market share in terms of business. On No. Of policies it is to the tune of above 80% and on Premium count it is to the tune of above 72%.
LIC is second larges real estate holding corporation after Indian Railways.
For better connectivity, we the people policy holders of LIC, suggest this corporation to launch its own satellite namely e.g. Insusat or LICsat etc.
Now a days, LIC is in news regarding IPO.
