Dr. Rita Sikka, I'd like to thank you on behalf of my happy teeth :-) I've not had a routine cleaning done in almost three years because I personally tried to avoid going to the dentist unless I needed to. But after visiting your clinic today I realized that not all dentists are created equal. Your kind and attentive manner put me at ease instantly. And what I appreciated the most is you taking the time to explain why and what exactly you would be doing every step of the procedure. This made it a lot less intimidating for me. If anyone is looking for a dentist, I'd recommend Dr. Rita Sikka wholeheartedly. The clinic was neat and clean, the staff was very pleasant, and utmost precaution was taken to ensure safety and hygiene. As an expat now living in Gurgaon, I can attest that Dr. Rita Sikka's practice would rival any U.S. based one.

Had been avoiding a visit to a dentist because of residual fear from my childhood when I had gotten some painful tooth extractions & braces done at another dental clinic. Also, dental maladies are not covered under medical insurances & I had to watch my finances. My parents recommended I visit here as they were very encouraged by their own experiences. And my outlook towards going to the dentist more regularly has certainly changed positively post my visits with Dr. Rita. My first appointment & subsequent ones were all in 2021 & thus had to be undertaken under strict Covid protocols at the clinic. Needless to say, Dr. Rita is meticulous with the Covid sanitization & safety protocols which is somewhat 'essential' in her line of work & the clinic did an extremely thorough job with the disinfecting/sanitizing process- which I at first thought was a bit cumbersome, but given the seriousness of the Covid situation here I realized that it is better to be safe than sorry. Furthermore, everyone working at the clinic was double-masked with an N95 mask & a surgical mask to boot. All the equipment used at the clinic is hygienic & encompasses the latest technology in the field if not state-of-the-art. During the initial examination- Dr. Rita took the time to understand my overall health concerns & medical history. She also took the time to explain in detail what dental issues I had after examining my mouth. She explained at length what the prognosis would be while answering any queries I had as well. I did not feel any to minimal sensitivity & no pain at all during the cavity filling procedure though I do have sensitive teeth. Her delivery of the anesthetic injections was sublime- I can testify that I did not even feel the slightest pinprick on the inside of my cheek. She also opened my eyes to the fact that I had always been brushing my teeth in an incorrect manner which harmed my gums rather than helped- all while letting me know what the correct method is. Given her professionalism, appointments at the clinic run like clockwork. Dr. Rita is extremely professional & committed to her job in a very work-oriented fashion- yet is affable & personable & tries her best to make her patients feel comfortable which is no mean task in a very diverse country like India. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Rita & Life Essential Dental to anyone looking not only for an honest, candid, professional, & hygienic dentist- but also one who is kind-hearted & does not have any pretenses but instead is a down-to-earth kind of person.

I was recommended Dr. Rita by a friend. And now we are repeat patients. I even have to drive almost an hour to get there. She does excellence especially with my children. She is tender and kind, treats them with respect and doesn’t talk down to them. And they get excellent care at the same time. She is knowledgeable about a wide array of subjects that are peripherally related to her dentistry. She explains things to me in detail without it being overwhelming and is not condescending. I have learned many things from her for both myself and my kids. We will use her and recommend her to others as long as we live in NCR.
