Well, it's a tragic experience. We went for pre-delivery checkup. And here it goes -- Doctor, after checkup, confused and scared us to make immediate admission. They go to any extent to grab the patient and ensure no normal delivery, for extra bucks. Things went worse after that. Though due date was 2 weeks away, they made caesarean operation on very same day on the pretext of non availability of doctors for next few days. Patient was lying afloat with literally no care. Opt was supposed to happen at night however they hurriedly finished it without our knowledge by evenings. To our utter surprise, they handed over the baby, wrapped in a towel which is full of stains and dark patches and used by other patients. At night, there is no routine visit for mother neither they check how the baby is doing..they simply turn deaf ears even if you beg for them. No food given, no doctor or nurse visit untill situation goes dangerously wrong, no limit on number of visitors, no room temperature control and worst of all they have no idea which patient is shifted to which room...if you go to reception for patient visit, they will open up a 2 Rs. 'khata' where they have hand written some notes on patients which are terribly wrong. They made us scan through the ground floor to look for the patient untill we found her by ourselves she is in first floor and relocated hours ago. They provide no food, no towels...bed where patient was, strewn with sanitary napkins, used gloves and other thrown up materials and you can't sit there without covering your nose. They cleaned those after repeated requests. On 3rd days, as we find some issues with the kid, after prolonged request, a doctor came and suggested some medicines and tests for 2 days old baby which by utter luck, we consulted with another pediatrician of same nursing home and found those prescribed ones are not necessary however it could have gone wrong if administered with those. We went for early release lest wrong treatment / medicine make the situation worst. Hefty amount is charged at the end with respect to the scanty care given to patients. I would insist, for delivery, better go elsewhere. And strict NO for delivery related treatment if you really care for your family. Please socialize this traumatic experience so that others can be aware and mindful.
