★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well maintained hospital. Good doctors & other staff. Would like to share a note on my father in law's cataract operation for both the eyes.
The hospital told us that Indian lens is around 12500, & imported has 2 types 22500 & 30000.
We opted for 22500 for both the eyes.
But after the operation when we checked the file, they had used indian for right eye & imported for left eye. But they had charged 22500 for both the eyes.
When asked they said the Indian lens is a superior one of same price.
I would have appreciated they informing us on this once the operation was done, then we asking them & then they give us such reply??????........

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been here for my Father's cataract surgery. It's a well maintained hospital and the staff are welcoming & polite Dr. Preethi handled our case - Very energetic and clarified all our queries. Would definitely recommend. One other point - No cashless insurance facility.

We have operated my mother cataract operation for both the eyes within couple of days Dr Preethi Hurkadli who is our doctor who operated my mother as well she is treating my elder kid too. Her approach towards patients is excellent convincing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not all eye hospitals in Bangalore are fully accessible for persons with blindness, which is a basic requirement. The Lion's Hospital at RBI Layout is an exception as it is accessible with wheel chairs, and for persons with disabilities. On a review visit, we found the retina specialist at the hospital quite professional and to the point.
The staff at the reception and pre-review tests were also friendly and helpful. Overall, the visit was quick and fruitful.

Dr. Preethi Hurkadali did the sugery and handled it very well and she is a wonderful person. Post operative check up also taken care in a very good way.

Dr. Preethi was a wonderful surgeon and the staff were very friendly and took care of all the instructions which was required for my mom eye surgery. Also the hospitality is too excellent. I would highly recommend this hospital for any kind of eye treatment.
