★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The present name is Lohia Matri Seva Sadan Hospital but this house was owned by Babu Haren Sil, a prominent citizen of his day. But he sold this house for his love for art and music.. The house with its beautiful pillars and stair cases resembles Raj Bhavan. The lion on the top of the entrance gate makes the resemblance complete. It is one of the most famous maternity hospitals of the city. It is fully facilitated with number of department experts and latest technologies in the field of medical science. Located in a suitable locality with excellent connectivity with north Kolkata neighbourhood it is very popular and affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a popular, nice and calm place at Kolkata. When I was visiting this place I found very few people there. It's also a useful place to the directors of films. It's not like other visiting place but you can go and have nice shots there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really beautiful up close. The gigantic pillars makes your jaw drop. It is just beside the school I work at. So I went there with my colleague yesterday. We looked around for a while and didn't go inside the building. I loved the architecture. I've seen many movies and serials getting shot here. So it's quite s popular spot.
