प्रदेश में लोक सेवाओं के प्रदान की प्रक्रिया को सरल एवं जन-मित्र (People friendly) बनाने में सहायता करना ।
मध्यप्रदेश लोक सेवा के प्रदान की गारंटी अधिनियम 2010 के तहत अधिसूचित सेवाओं को समय सीमा में निराकरण की व्यवस्था हेतु संस्थागत, नीतिगत एवं प्रक्रियागत सुधर करने की दिशा में मार्गदर्शन करना ।
लोक सेवाओं के प्रदाय एवं आदिनियम के तहत अधिसूचित सेवाओं को प्रदाय में सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी का उपयोग बढ़ाना ताकि अधिक से अधिक शासन द्वारा प्रदत्त नागरिक सेवाऍं ऑनलाइन प्राप्त हो सकें ।
सेवाओं को ऑनलाइन उपलब्ध कराने के लिए डाटा डिजिटाईजेशन की आवश्यकता का आंकलन करना तथा विभागों को आवश्यक सहयोग करना ।
भारत सरकार की “ई-डिस्ट्रिक्ट” मिशन मोड परियोजना के लिए स्टेट डिजिगनेटेड अथॉरिटी के रूप में कार्य करना ।
लोक सेवाओं को प्रदान करने के लिए शासकीय कार्यालयों में आवश्यक उपकरणों तथा नेटवर्किंग के लिए संसाधनों के मानक सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के सहयोग से निर्धारित करना ।
प्रदेश में दी जा रही नागरिक सेवाओं विशेषकर अधिनियम के तहत अधिसूचित सेवाओं के क्रियान्वयन का थर्ड पार्टी असेसमेंट । अधिनियम के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन के लिए मूल्यांकन कर आवश्यक सुधारात्मक कदम उठाना ।
गैर अधिसूचित सेवाओं के लिए प्रदाय की प्रक्रियाओं को मानकीकरण और उन्हें ऑनलाइन प्रदाय करने की व्यवस्था करना ।
लोक सेवा केंद्रों की प्रशासकीय व्यवस्थाओं का संचालन एवं समन्वय करना ।
लोक सेवाओं के प्रदाय संबंधी सलाहकारी सेवाओं का प्रदाय करना ।
लोक सेवा प्रबंधन विभाग के द्वारा समय-समय पर प्रदत्त दायित्वों का निर्वहन करना ।

Assessing the need for data digitization and providing necessary support to departments to make services available online.
To act as the State Designated Authority for the "e-District" mission mode project of the Government of India.
To set standards of resources for the necessary equipment and networking in government offices for providing public services in collaboration with Department of Information Technology.
Third party assessment of implementation of civil services being provided in the state, especially under the Act. Evaluate and take necessary corrective steps for effective implementation of the Act.
To standardize the procedures of delivery for non-notified services and arrange for them to be delivered online.
To operate and coordinate the administrative arrangements of public service centers.
Providing advisory services related to the delivery of public services.
