★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always prefer to visit here for any type of treatment. Doctors here are well experienced and consults best advice for your treatment. Also, medicines are provided free of cost as this hospital belongs to BMC. The only issue here is crowd and hygiene. Due to crowd, staff here is not able to manage patients and hence there is uncleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tips: if you have physical issue (surgery related issues) you will get case paper from ground floor.
If you have dental & hair related issue take case paper from 2nd floor.
Pro Tip: to skip the long que come before 9am.

I had joined MUHS fellowship course in Sion hospital. But now I am cancelling my admission. As per the refund policy of MUHS, I should get 90% fees back with 10% deduction (leaving within a month).
But in Sion hospital Mumbai,nobody is responding to it.
I am struggling to start the procedure to get my own money.
No body in the hospital knows the procedure. Very much hopeless!!

This is very old hospital and a medical college is also attached to it.
This place is overloaded with patients. Hundred of patients come daily to OPD. Some are given medicine and advice, while some serious patients are admitted.
There are many wards and OT.
The relatives of patients manage to live either on and around hospital premises.
Very few go to hotels and lodge.
Due to overload of patients, the place is not tidy as it should be. Needs lot to e done.
By and large this is a place visited in need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mostly people call this hospital as a "Sion Hospital", some call it as a "Bada Sion Hospital" as it located in Sion.
Location- more buses are available just near the hospital, stop name- Lokmanya Tilak Rugnalaya or Sion Hospital.
6-7 minutes walk from Gandhi market.
Nearest Railway station-
Around 10-12 minutes walk from King's Circle Railway Station, and around 10-12 minutes walk from a Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar(GTB Nagar) Railway Station.
Description-
It's one of the best hospital in whole Mumbai, huge amount of people get benefited from here at the lowest cost as it provided by a government. Doctors are well educated over here with much experience.
Place is very much secured.
Free Vaccination drives so you can enquire and register.
There are some cons as well, previously place was not much clean, but now it's improving. Some nurse and doctors are little harsh, you should know to handle it.
Outside the hospital main gate, you can get a fast food and breakfast at a road side.
Maintain social distancing, wear a mask, clean yourself after coming from hospital since it's a pandemic situation.
