★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I completed my 10th from Lourdes High school. Teaching and non-teaching staff is helpful and understanding. In the campus of the school there is church of lady of Lourdes. The school has computer lab on the ground floor, Science lab on the third floor and an audio visual room at the first floor. School later developed its own junior college for the students in church building. The church has its own space and college has its own space. Everyday assembly used to conduct on the ground and every Wednesday all the students from 5th to 7th had to exercise and from 8th to 10th their exercise was conducted on Saturday. Assembly conducted on the ground was one of the annoying part because all the had to stand up almost around half hour. Few girls during assembly had fainted just because they were standing for so long as assembly was conducted early in the morning at 7:00am. Rainy days where the best for us because we don't had to stand up in assembly for half hour for no reason. School is a government school hence everyone can afford that the best thing and government also provide mid-day meals which sincerely I appreciate. School also helps to develop a student interpersonal skills. Interschool Sports compitition are also conducted. sports like racing,book balancing, swimming etc are encouraged here. Rally also conducted by the students and teachers on the social issues to spread awareness among the people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, there is no such school that goes by the name of "old Lourdes high school" Its "Lourdes High School" I guess old Lourdes is a binary term used for "New Lourdes". Admin please make the necessary edit/ amend.
My last year at school was in the year 1993. By far, One of the best schools in the entire district. The school was ahead of its time, it focused on overall development of the students and did not focus alone on academics. Although, it had an illustrious list of academicians.
The fastest to incorporate computer education in the syllabus. today we have a lot of my batch mates leading software projects in the silicon valley in US. The staff was phenomenal. There were subject matter experts for every subjects you could cover in school. Sports, Art, Dramatics, and other co circular activity. Every aspect of learning was given equal importance. There were teaching and non teaching staff. Who, would go beyond the call of duty to impart knowledge and shape the personality of the students. Extremely passionate and dedicated were the staff. Lourdes high school . I cant thank you enough. 5 star is less.
