Worst college I have seen in my whole academic year the office staff seams that they are the head of the college they don't even support college students. If you have a work in the college office regarding fees or any issue they will take a month or 2 months for just simple work. They will tell you to come tomorrow but their tomorrow doesn't ever come . The professor's are good but staff should be changed so please look at this many students are reporting regarding office staff..??

Their are many other quota institutes where they do their best to help students from their Communities, but like any other few Muslim institution SS is also making mockery of it. They take students with highest percentage and recommendations in quota, the remaining students with little lower percentage and weak financial conditions are asked to go through regular channel's. Common sense students with high percentage or good financial status has many choice, they need to help students who actually deserves to be in quota, they should learn from sindhi instiitutes how they help their community. Otherwise what's the use of all this few institutes we have when we can't help our own community

A nice environment for studies but lack of open space for sports and cultural events . Best faculties for mechanical and civil in engineering . One of its kind having education right from 11th 12th science aided and non aided , diploma aided non aided , ITI courses, design cources , diesel mechanics , ac work fittings and many more . A college with prime location with both mumbai central and byculla with a walkable distance of about 1.5 km .

It is well equipped institute. Very prestigious institution for engineering and diploma courses. it also offers ITI courses after 10 th. They have very large machine shop, work shop and Smithy shop. I visited mechanical engineering department, so I am giving feedback for mechanical department only. They also CNC operated lathe and milling machine. They have industrial CNC machine too. I was able to take only 3 photo's just because busy routine there.

I have been associated as a Student of MH Saboo Siddik Polytechnic, Student of MH Saboo Siddik College of Engineering and later a lecturer in the MH Saboo Siddik Polytechnic so can explain you the best for the 7 years spent here. I would let you know regarding the Engineering section only in this comment. 1. Graduation Rate: 9/10 Mostly all the students are graduated and try their best to start their job or further studies. Only around 1-2% of them do not graduate at the stipulated 4 year period due to many reasons of their own. 2. Student to Faculty Ratio: 8/10 GOOD. There are no shortage of teaching faculties and lab assistants so as to cause inconvenience to the students for their subjects. Almost no faculty takes dual subjects in a semester. Mostly faculties are experts in their sub-fields. 3. Financial Aid and Fees: 5/10 One of the negative aspect is the fees per year for the college. During the academic year 2018-19 (my graduation year) it was around 125,000 but now it is almost close to 160,000 with no change in facilities, increased placements, infrastructural updation etc. And about financial aid its not possible for any student from the college. Also they will try to take the fees as a one time payment and won't accept installments for sure. Thats how they have been when I was involved (2016-2019). The issue is with th me adminstration which I will be discussing in the thread later. 4. Placements: Overall: 6/10 (For Mechanical, Civil, Automobile - 2/10) I will talking about the actual scenario of the college unlike what they say in their prospectus. IT, Comps - The placements are really good. I have personally seen a placement of around 98% of the eligible students who did not wanted to study further. Many companies like TCS, Godrej Info, LTI, Teradata, Infosys, etc. The package ranges from 6lpa - 3.5lpa Electronics, EXTC - Average Placements for these branches. They are eligible to work in IT firms hence most of the students sit in the IT firm placement drives and get placed. The package ranges from 5lpa - 3 lpa Mech, Automobile, Civil - Below Average / Worst placements for these branches. No even a single company visited for the Civil and Auto core branch. About Mechanical we saw a couple of core companies intersted in the students and some of them got placed in Gulf countries. But except those the other companies who visited the campus were Swiggy, Byjus (Yeah the same BDA scam profile), Future Generali Life Insurance, Etc. The package ranges from 5lpa - 3lpa 5. Internship Opportunities: 7/10 The overall number of opportunities provided by the college in helping the students get internships depends on the branch again. IT, Comps do get help but no the same with Mech, Civil, Auto as they have to find their opportunities by themselves and later college takes the credit by intervening in between. (yeah, thats how it works for these branches) 6. Extra Curricular Activities: 7/10 College witness a number of events starting from their annual fest Ambrosia and sports fest Aspire every year in March-April. There are number of days like Saree/Tie day, Gang day, Staff cricket day etc which is awaited my the students every year. But you might be surprised to know that there is not exemption from the lectures during these 7-8 days. You have to attend all the lectures by wearing the whole costume and later after 4/5 pm celebrate the day or bunk those lectures enjoy the day and get blacklisted by the professors. 7. Anti-Ragging: 10/10 The college does not co-operate a single ragging case and has been very strict in the ragging policy since years. Not a single case of ragging has been known and will always be the case for the coming years. There is an anti-ragging committee for the same. I personally have been the Committee Member of ISHRAE, Technical Secretary of the Ambrosia Festival, Multiple times Class topper, Represented college at State, District and College level... That concludes my 7 point review of the college. Hope you like it. I could not explain any further.
