★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had sherwani, vest, kurta pajama and matching nagra shoes made through on-line services offered by the famous Mehdi Hasan Tailors. The do have an elaborate measurement form for Sherwani. Mr. Akhtar Mehdi was courteous and prompt in dealing with the entire process. All material was delivered to the US in time. The Sherwani turned out to be a perfect fit. The shoe ended up being little lose to my size. I wish that the courier used by them may have done a better job in packing the stuff. They “thoosed” all stuff in a small box.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with M. Hasan Tailor has been an exemplary one. I got my sherwani stitches from Pune to be delivered to jodhpur and they are based out of Aligarh.
Right from the start their approach was very professional with the diagram of measurements required. They were able to dispatch within 2 weeks time and I was delighted to see the fitting, just awesome.
I would like to thank Mr. Owais and the staff for a beautiful experience

I prefer the fit and hospitality of the small shop owner over the big shop owner, that somehow looks clumsy. Whenever visiting Aligarh, get your master cut Sherwani at the original Mehdi Hasan Tailor shop, the small one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mehdi Hasan Tailor is simply the best North Indian tailor that specializes in Wedding Sherwanis, Sherwanis, Kurta Pyjama and men's Pathan suit/ Shalwar Kameez. I have ordered numerous items the they all fit perfectly and I am constantly complimented on the quality of the fabric and fit. They are easy to work with and passionate about their work. I will only go to them to order custom clothing. I live in Canada and they tailored and delivered the items well before the events I had to wear them at.
I had elders and young people coming up to me asking me where I bought the clothes from. My grandfather use to get his clothes made from the tailor and suffice to say, the quality of fabric and fit is unbelievable.
