The goddess is seen holding the tongue of the demon. She is worshipped with yellow flowers and mostly adorns a yellow sari with red border.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bagola Mandir in Debinibash is close to a hundred years old. It is a very holy and peaceful place. Ma Bagola is one of the ten Devis collectively known as "DashaMahaVidya". Ma Bagola is the goddess who destroys the devil, the daemon.
This temple is very Jagrat temple (conscious).
Everyday, Puja is offered twice, once in the afternoon and once at night. And on Saturdays and other special days (like Sthapna Diwas, Kali Puja etc.), Puja is offered at morning as well.
Bhog Prasad is available daily during the daytime after Puja usually around 2pm.
Time of Puja at day: Around 12.30pm.
Time of Puja at night: Around 8pm.
Saturday Morning Puja time: 9am.
The foundation day (Sthapna Diwas) of the temple is on May 13th (or 12th depending on the Bengali calendar date). Puja on this day is very special and the preparation is very big, including live TV coverage in local cable.
Special Puja and huge preparations are made also during Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Annapurna Puja etc.
Devotees from across the city and even outskirts come here to offer their prayers. For people having jobs and a busy schedule, it is recommended to visit the temple in the evening (around 8pm) as Aarti is offered everyday in the evening Prayer (as well as in the Day prayer).
To visit the temple, one can come to DumDum Motijheel or Amarpally in Jessore Road and ask for directions or take a Toto/Rickshaw. This place is easily accessible and very well known to everyone in the locality.

Better visit Tuesday or Saturday noon between 12 to 1-30 ,Ma Bagala like yellow colour so you may offer yellow mala or sari apart from sweet ,or just visit to offer Praman to Ma Bagala and Baba Bolenath ,it is told that ma Bagala is the Guru of Mars (astrology ) so those have problem with mangal with their horoscope may find solutions offering puja to Ma, .It depends on ones believe in it .

Maa Bagalamukhi is the eighth Mahavidya and it is believed that chanting her mantra regularly will defeat one's enemies and free one of worries.
