★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a temple set up by the Banjaras many centuries ago. Banjaras were a community of traders who used to traverse the length and breadth of the country with goods. They also served as bankers.
The initial temple was set amidst thick forest to protect them from burglars and wild animals. The temple today has a beautiful structure with a pond and garden behind it.
The deities present here are Shiv, Ram, Krishna, Vinayaka etc. The road opposite to the temple was in a bad shape when I went. Since the trucks which carry coal from the mines nearby ply on the road frequently, there is a lot of fine coal dust deposited inside the temple. The temple would be even more beautiful if the road opposite is properly maintained. Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays are special days here
