★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Religious Temple. I have travelled from Puri, road from Puri to Konark is excellent. Konark to Kakatpur is also very good. It is a single lane road but condition was above my expectations. Must visit if you are visiting Puri or Konark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kakatpur Maa Mangala Is a blessed place and you can feel the divine presence of the deity.Dont miss to see the sila sthana where maa mangala comes back and sits after visiting lord Jagannath.The rock has been shaped by the posture Maa sits on it ,it's was a goose bumps experience. Kahna Bhai was supportive in showing around . I am trying to visit the temple from last 4 years but unless Maa calls you noone can go .Jai Maa Mangala

Situated at Kakatapur which is 60 km from Puri and almost same distance from Phulnakhara.
Except for Tuesdays and some special occasions you can have a nice darshan of Maa.
Sometimes you have to pay to go inside near to the idol
A lot of Priests will crowd around you at temple so either tell your village and get your prist or totally say no to them.
Puja items and Bhog is available inside and outside temple.
Prasad is also served inside temple at lunch time for a price of about 70 rupees per head.
People belive Maa Fulfills their wishes and I too belive that.
