Temple of a Hindu local goddess. Open for the pilgrims round the year. Large scale annual festival during March every year. Pilgrims from nearby towns and villages visit the place during the festival. Usually road blocks are imposed during the festival in the narrow by lane.

This is a famous temple in Chatra, Serampore. Sitala Puja is celebrated here as a festival. A fair is also organised during the Puja. Many people from different places come to offer Puja here. The fair is also very popular and it continues for almost a week.

One of the most famous temples in Serampore apart from Mahesh Jagannath temple. Lots of nostalgia involved around this temple. This temple became popular in the past as people believed (and still believe) that small pox / chicken pox gets cured by praying before Goddess Shitala.
