Jilabi is hot favourite here at the time of mela. Devotees make their regular worship through out year here also. We have a big vegetables market here. From alpin to elephant all are available here. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most famous temples in Serampore apart from Mahesh Jagannath temple. Lots of nostalgia involved around this temple. This temple became popular in the past as people believed (and still believe) that small pox / chicken pox gets cured by praying before Goddess Shitala.
