Amazing temple on the top of the hill with some vibrant stone art works. The temple is ancient and one of the Shakti Peetha of Odisha. This place is constantly growing and attracting more tourists. However this place needs more attention from Odisha tourism mainly regarding the cleanliness and the smooth operation. Do check it out if you are near Berhampur or Gopalpur.

Beautiful devine place of Maa Tara Tarini. The temple is at the top of a mountain. You can climb 1000 steps / use the rope way / take a bus ride to reach. The old temple is being renovated. Thanks to the Government of Odisha for this step.

Beautiful shrine on the top of Kumari mountain. Devi here is maa taratarini. She is one of the four adi shaktipeeth ( others three being kalighat at Kolkata, kamakhya at Guwahati, bimala Devi at Puri Jagannath temple complex) . Very old mandir, being newly constructed. Many mandaps are under construction around the area. Deity is so beautiful, one can feel her immense divine power yet one can feel the complete peace of mind. One can go to the top by three ways.1 Ropeway, most popular, fare is 59₹ to and fro, 2.climbing stairs, 999 of them !!!!, 3 by personal car. View from above is breathtaking with rishikulya river flowing below

Beautiful temple, 999 steps to climb. You can opt for a bus ride also. We climbed the steps and the view from the top was beautiful. Located on the banks of Rushikulya river. Usually crowded over the weekends.

One of the four adi sakti pith, as described in Hindu history. The place is reached by stairs and ropeway. The environment is pleasant and serene. Beware of monkeys. The temple is rich in sculpture in all its walls.
