★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old and over priced restaurant of Bangalore. Serves South Indian breakfast. Tasted average!! Sambar was worst part didn’t even match Darshini style. Chutney was delicious. Ample 2w parking. 4w parking would be challenging. Accepts only cash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maha Lakshmi Tiffin Rom is one of the best no frills place for simple south Indian foods. You will feel surrounded by heritage and long standing tradition in this canteen feel restaurant. Idlis, wadas, benne (butter) dosa, madhur wadas were all excellent, so fresh and delicious. Don't miss the filter coffee either. All for affordable prices and exceptional quality.

One of the oldest hotel in Namma Bengaluru?
I tried benne masala dosa which was crispy and perfect.
Puri sagu was excellent, we also had single vada with sambar dip (Sambar was bitter,maybe because they used Menthya soppu).
We wanted to try their rava idly unfortunately they had ran out of it!!
P.S- they only accept cash??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small hotel best in class taste. One of the Old basavanagudi hotel in DVG road. No landmark required for this hotel. Another gem in basavanagudi.
Parking: early morning you get some where near by parking else 4 wheeler parking is challenging and 2 wheeler you get it in DVG road.
Items to try: idly, vada (with dip or without dip), sagu masala, masala dosa, poori sagu and coffee?.
Cost: pocket friendly

In Other Hotels They Apply Red Chutney For Masale DoSey But Here In "MLTR" They Apply Normal Green Chutney For Masale DoSey Which Is Very Flavourful ... Their Halwa Is Also Divine To Finish Off The Morning Breakfast ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic. Traditional and pleasant ambience. Masala dosa here is so delicious. Sambar idly is also worth the try. Only CASH. No menu card. Waiters help you with it but it would be better to have menu in atleast English for tourists. Worth every penny.

Be it the unique Khali dosa or the snacks or the yummy Carrot Halwa,all the items in their limited menu makes it worth trying out.
Taste wise no comparison to any other eateries.
Small and cozy place always packed with food lovers.The prices are nominal.The staff is friendly!!
Would definitely visit this place again and recommend others to try Dosas here.
