โ โ โ โ โ A famous eating joint near bolpur shantiniketan station.. went there to have our lunch before departure.
A typical Bengali restaurant with homely ambiance and food.. pretty much pocket friendly.. cooking is ok types.
We took 3 meals for individual
1.veg for 70
2.egg for 80
3.mutton price i forgot as i took only veg
They have coupon system marked as per thali or food items which is convenient.
Then comes the sabji.. they have various items based on availability
We had
Rice
Masoor dal
Potato soyabean curry- okayish
Potato parwal curry okayish
Shukto which is pretty good
Papad
Tomato chutney was tasty
Mutton looked good but not so tasty
Egg curry was tasty and light

โ โ โ โ โ Quality of the food is average and just enough to satisfy your hunger but the service is very much disappointing . The guy who was serving was very mean towards the customer.
It was disheartening to see someone dusting the left over rice on table with BROOM . It was hard for me to believe that the table on which my plate would be placed is clean with broom.
If you don't care about the hotel's service and OK with food quantity , anyone can come to this hotel.

โ โ โ โ โ Me and my brother went there accidentally. It was highly recommended by our toto driver who said that it would be one of a kind experience and we would never forget and yes i do agree with him in a way...we make mistake only once?. if you have nowhere to go and just want to fill your hungry belly with just anything then just go for it.they serve enough rice and other items depending on your choices.so there is no question on quantity but the quality of the food is terribly compromised....?

โ โ โ โ โ Perfect place to have lunch and dinner of 100% Bengali thali. It's actually a traditional PICE HOTEL. Tasty food and pocket friendly. Veg thali will have rice, dal, two vegetables (seasonal), papad chutney. Add on fish, egg, chicken or mutton. Best part is the polite behaviour of the owner as well as the staffs.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the best Rice Hotel in Bolpur. The food quality is very good like mom's hand made. Also lodging facility is available here. Price rate of food is so good. The weather of room is very good. Cooperation of staff is very nice. Meal system is very reachnable price. The quantity of food is large than the price thay collect. Aboveall it is a very comfortable hotel for tourist. Rs. 130 ( Chicken Meal) just awosome. At last papor & chatni are very good. Thanks Mahamaya hotel's Mangment. 71 years old Hotel, the best hotel in bolpur
