Maharishi Vedvyas Gurukul Vidyapeeth - Delhi
The Vidyapeeth a Unique Centre of Ancient and Modern Disciplines of learning, is Located in Ananddham Ashram, Delhi.
With a view to preserving the cultural values in Indian society and to adorn humanity with the divine knowledge of classics such as the Vedas, the Upanishads etc. and Particularly in the backdrop of the blind race for modernity and craze for material goods and gains ignoring ancient, Cultural Wealth of knowledge and science, The Revered Maharajshri laid the foundation of this gurukul on 2nd October, 1999 and in the beginning Updeshaks were trained. These achariyas trained in yajnas , spiritual discourse, music ,arts etc. are spreading the sweet scent of Indian culture far and wide across the world. In 2007 it was christened and reshaped as bal-gurukul.
Now Vatuk [child-ascetic] the students pursue their study here as per the curriculum of the Sanskrit university of Varanasi, alongwith the Vedas, the puranas, the Ramayana, geeta and grammer besides Yajna, yoga, music, computer, judo karata etc. Ambience is ancient –but the course of study are a mix of the hoary past and latest modern disciplines.
