Primarily it was held in a make shift arrangements . Later developed a temple .
In each year , on the eve of "Buddha Purnima", an week long mela along with puja and prayers are held by the devotees.
There is a pond nearby . People believe that the water of that pond is a " panacea" of all aliments .
Huge gatherings occur every year .
