This place has very good taste of food. Good ambience and very courteous service and friendly staff. I have always preferred buffet system as alakart is also there. If u don't have any idea of Chinese u can always go for buffet In starters the soup was good. Chicken and fish starters were great. I am not a fan of dumplings but they were very good. In main course the crab curry was very yummy. Good variety in desert as well.

Every time I visit this place I land up with a single dilemma, whether to go for the à la cart or the buffet. The buffet allows you a lot of joys and dissatisfaction to be able to taste variety of dishes while the à la cart will allow to eat one of the favourite dish that too at a lesser cost. The added advantage of this restaurant is that the portion of the food are good enough for at least 2 person We are a family of 3 and thus the effective solution is to order 1 non veg buffet an à la cart menu. This definitely becomes heavy to the stomach but we end up feeling happy and contented after the meal The food here is mouth watering and the staff very helpful and warm. Thus if it’s Mainland China i invariably land up here. If you like Chinese with an Indianness added to it this is the restaurant to be visited

We were at Mainland China this afternoon to try some of their brilliant Chinese meal after a really really long time. First up its worth mentioning the kind of precautions that they are using to ensure that the family dining in the place is safe. Right at the entrance, the usual Temperature check and the sanitization happens. Post that every alternate table has been blocked out to ensure that there is actually social distancing and the best part is that every table has its own bottle of sanitizer. Every server is wearing masks and gloves and it's extremely safe. Next up the service is worth mentioning. Even though we were slightly before time we were welcomed very warmly and were seated and ensured we were well taken care of. Even throughout the entire meal we were treated very specially. It was a lovely treat. Mr subbu, Santosh,  Tulu and just so many more who's name I am missing but all of them were the most courteous, caring people that I have ever experienced. We tried the below dishes: 1. Honey Chilli Potatoes: these were crisp, slender, deep fried chunks of potato coated in a tangy and spicy sauce. The potato lover in me was the happiest while gobbling on a plateful of this. 2. Pan Fried Asian Chilli Fish: the pan fried fish was fresh and really soft. The sauce was a really spicy and sweet mix with a whole lot of veggies. It was just amazing. 3. Thai style vegetarian dumplings: the dumplings had the lightest coating and a hum of really light lemongrass on the background. The filling was stuffed with a whole lot of veggies which added a slight crispness to the soft cover. Really nice. 4. Chicken and Mushroom Sui mai: the Sui mai was really soft and succulent. The filling had the juiciest combination of chicken and Mushroom. Just loved it. 5. Chilli basil fish in clay pot: the clay pot was really great, it had a very spicy sauce and had a brilliant flavor. 6. Chicken Fried rice: this was my favourite dish of the evening. It is often said that the best things in life are simple and this just exemplifies that. The fried rice was very lightly seasoned and had large chunks of chicken and eggs. It really didn't need another accompaniment, it was good as is. 7. Honey noodles with Ice cream: the honey noodles were crisp and had an amazing flavour. I'm not normally a fan of this but genuinely enjoyed it. 8. Chocolate Rolls: the chocolate rolls were awesome, had a stuffing of chocolate with condensed milk and was deep fried. 9. Pina colada: the Pina colada was refreshing. 10. Orange spiroska: the orange drink was slightly tangy but quite delicious. We had the best Chinese meal in a long long time. It was so good that we just couldn't get up from the place after eating coz we had just stuffed ourselves. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this to one and all.

Whenever I think of Chinese, I think of mainland China they also had an advertisement which said if it's Chinese it's mainland China today. I went there with my best friend it was a treat from my side to her so it had to be the best Chinese in town and I'm happier that I selected mainland China. We ordered the following dishes and we had a ball : Appetizer Jiang's chilly cottage cheese (veg) : This was the most creamiest and soft pioneer I've had in some time and the pairing of chilly with the paneer was to die for. This has been by far my favorite appetizer post the lock down Diced chicken with assorted pepper (nonveg) : Being a hardcore non vegetarian had to try a non veg appetizer and the diced chicken with pepper gave us the perfect Bang of taste and flavor. Corn & water chestnut dumpling (veg) : Water chestnuts are my favorite vegetables when I'm dining outside and finding any dumpling with water Chestnut in it my reviews will be biased. Loved it to the core. Go for it Basil flavored chicken dumplings (nonveg) : Great thin dumplings packed with flavor and gave a punch when we tried it with the chili oil sauce. Main course Seasonal vegetables in smoked chilli sauce (veg) : This had the most exotic vegetables in it and the chili sauce was amazing I think this is the best veg main course I've had in an year at least this paired perfectly with the chicken fried rice was to die for. Chicken in roasted garlic sauce (non veg) : This was rich and creamy and had a great texture to it I loved every piece of the roasted garlic sauce that I had. Awesome. Rice & needles Burnt garlic noodles with vegetables: These were soft and long noodles which worked perfect for a rainy day like we had today in Mumbai, the burnt garlic flavor was not overpowering, and it gave an amazing twist with the veggies. Chicken fried rice: Although it's a chicken fried rice but the taste it left dangling was out of the world and pairing it with the vegetables in chili sauce was a pair made in heaven. Dessert Honey noodles with almond flakes : Not that I have never tried honey noodles before but if you are looking at the thinnest and the most crunchiest honey noodles give this one a shot. The almond flakes on top I did another element of crunch and was the perfect icing to the entire brilliant meal that I had Chocolate rolls : The chocolate lover in me had to order a chocolaty dessert and this ticked all boxes of being a perfect chocolate dessert. All in all if somebody had told me I this would be the entire menu and the taste I would have selected this without a second thought and so I would recommend each one of you to try this menu out. They maintain all the hygiene factors and ensure that safety is primarily during these covert times but at no point do they compromise on the taste definitely value for money and worth every penny that I spent My bestie had a big smile on her face. Thank you mainland China .I thank the manager Pankaj for being extremely hospitable and this meal wouldn't have been complete without your suggestions and amazing attitude !

We were hosted by the manager, Pankaj, who was welcoming and helped us with our choice of dishes and drinks. The staff was courteous and hands on. The restaurant tops at their hygiene standards given the situation, and made it a pleasant experience for us. We began with a round of the Lung Fund with egg white chicken soup. The soup was delicious and was bumped up to a luxurious level with egg white on it. We then tried the Jiangs Chilli Chicken which was tangy and delectable. You wouldn’t find a coating of batter while you bite into the chicken pieces. The sauce was excellent. To complement our main course, we ordered some mocktails. We called for the Watermelon and cilantro crush which was refreshing and has pieces of watermelon, and Lychee and basil quencher which was a sweet and tangy Mocktail, a drink you’d love to have in the summers! We tried the Chicken and straw mushroom Siumai which passed the test on authentic siumai. By far it has been one of the best siumais we’ve tasted. It tasted remarkable with a dense combined smell, and a slightly spicy taste. Soon, we moved on to the main course and ordered our basic, Egg and chicken fried rice, and General Tao’s chicken. The fried rice was yum, and the General Tao’s chicken tasted sweet, sour with a taste of soya sauce and some peanuts. We then tried our hands on some authentic noodles, and ordered Black pepper noodles chicken which was prepared in Cantonese style, was light on the tummy and still filling. We paired it up with some Chicken with Chillies and Basil which was served in a clay pot. The quantity and quality of all the dishes are to be commended. The pieces of chicken were sliced well and prepared in a thick sauce. We were quite full with this and ended our meal with some desserts. The hot chocolate rolls with ice cream seemed intriguing, and so did the Honey Noodles with Almond Flakes. The hot chocolate rolls were topped with coconut flakes, and was rich and unique. They went along with the ice cream. The honey noodles with almond flakes was not too sweet, and did just well. All in all, it was a great dinner at Mainland China, with commendable hospitality from staff, great hygiene standards, and amazing food.
