About Make A Wish Foundation India New Office
Bengaluru Division was started on 26th January 2008 under the able guidance of Mr. Vijay Ladha. As the Hon. Program Director he had very generously provided us with office space and related infrastructure at no charge till Oct 2017. He had always ensured that the focus is on granting wishes in a highly qualitative manner. He had always come up with innovative ways of creating games by which we can engage with children and ask them open ended questions that help our volunteers get the innermost cherished wish of the child. Make-A-Wish India sincerely thanks Mr. Ladha for his generosity and looks toward to his continuous support to our cause.
Their first wish they granted was of a boy battling cancer and his most cherished wish was to have fish bowl with a few gold fish.
In Nov 2017, we have revamped our Bengaluru operations. Mr. Gangadhar TGK has agreed to give his time, talent & treasure to be the Hon. Program Director for Bengaluru division. Professionally he is Director (Health Care) at Microsoft.
We now have a team of 3 staff and 5 volunteers that reaches out to over 15 hospitals and have the vision to grant over 500 wishes / annum in Bengaluru.
