Very few items give you worth your money. Drinks are unnecessarily expensive. Ambience is okayish

Good family restaurant, Ambiance and food both are good. we have tried few non veg food ,out of which I liked chicken biryani and chicken sizzler the most.one thing is the biryani quality is very less I feel even it's not sufficient for one.and one more thing I didn't like is they changed 45rs for a 1 lit water bottle, why so high price I don't understand

In the whole of Bhubaneswar, this is probably the best restaurant which was quite on point from preparation perspective - barring Dum chicken and shorba. We had bali prawn, veg manchow soup, chicken nuggets, butter garlic fish steak, makai malai kabab, paneer tikka, murgh badami shorba, daal fry, veg handi, dum chicken, garlic naan and roti. Starters were very impressive, perfectly prepared. Bali prawn and paneer tikka were really impressive. Most places in bbsr, prepare paneer tikka in a way that they overcook the paneer, making it stretchy - but Malva was on point there. Was a bit disappointed at shorba... Shorbas don't have any chunks. That's what make them different from soups, perhaps chef here had different idea. Due to the same reason, shorba wasn't thick enough as well. Even dum murgh - it did taste good.. Whatever their preparation was. However, it wasn't authentic. It was really thick and heavy preparation and had too much of kewra essence. Butter garlic fish was great albeit salty. we had to ask for lemon to balance it. Something you don't expect. You expect the chef to taste it before plating it. The lemon soda was so sour that none of us could drink it. The service was really amazing. They were really quick and courteous. It's a must visit place though. There are very rare places in bbsr who prepare their meat/seafood as good as these guys do.

I’m usually not keen on bad reviews. This one did not sit well from a customer experience standpoint. I went there as I was recommended by couple of different groups. The usual order and serving started. I had two mishaps with food items - Tandoori Roti was stale/uncooked. Rice served had gravels in it. We raised it with our server. My problem here is even before I could complete what my problem with food was he said we will give you a discount. Sounds great right. At the moment, it felt like a premeditated response from the staff. No sincerity in resolving what my concerns with the food items were. We had to eat what was served or order more food. Even guests with me who had been there earlier suggested no to visit this restaurants again. Sharing few pictures regardless

Good food! Great service! What more can one ask for? We tried Thai, Continental, Oriental and Indian (for dessert). And found all of it appealing to our senses. For soup we had veg manchow and chicken burnt garlic. Both the soups were just excellent. My daughter usually passes on her soup to me after tasting it a bit. And when she finishes her soup on her own, it means that she has given the restaurant a thumbs up already! Wife was on vegetarian that day do we ended up having Thai green curry. Accompanied with fried rice, it was one of the most amazing green curries we have tried in a while in this part of India. Daughter and I gorged on their own recipe of chicken nuggets. We found it interesting as elsewhere they would be called chicken crisps! Creative and tasty as well. The chicken steak (sizzler) was perfect as well. Just the right amount of sauces. Vegetables were just perfectly cooked. For dessert we ordered Rasmalai a d that too was too good. Overall a nice place to have lunch with family or friends. Hope to go out with friends as well. Deducting one star out of five for a lone housefly that loved my glass of water. Place like this should definitely be equiped with an insect catcher!

The place is really over-priced according to the taste of food. The food is made just like any cheap resturant would serve. Once order the virgin Mojito you can understand what i'm trying to say. The total glass is a sugar syrup with mint leaves which would cost you a fortune of a virgin mojito. Its better you try at Qzine, Arabikas, Smog ,Spice Library and even at Eat street and Carbon. The best alternative to Malva is 99North Resturant.
