Narvada is awesome and her cooking class was the best we've ever had in someone's own kitchen. All the ingredient were obviously fresh. When we got there, no time was lost before we got our hands working on the menu that we had set over the phone the day before. Go check out her website to pick which food you would like to cook. If we have to remember only one meal from this class, it will be malai kofta. I just couldn't stop eating it. She told us a little bit of her personal story and it is very touching. We were two people, classe was 1000 rupees per person and we cooked food for a good 3.5 hours. I recommand this place x1000 to anyone looking for a north indian cooking class.

Highly recommend this cooking school! Very hands on. Over 4 hours we cooked 4 delicious vegetarian dishes, plus an Indian dessert called Kheer, 2 different types of bread and of course chai. We then got to feast on this. All this cost us approx $20aud each. Absolute bargain. We will definitely be making these dishes again when we go home.

I had such a lovely time on this cooking course. Having just left a sivananda yoga ashram in Netala where we had good sattvic food everyday I was keen to learn how to cook in such a way. This course did not disappoint and I feel empowered to cook these dishes for family and friends now. For the price you get to learn how to cook a range of dishes, breads, chai tea and to witness a master chef in action who doesn’t waste an ounce of food... something many of us need to be more conscious of today! Highly recommend!

We've always wanted to learn to cook Indian food but classes are very expensive in New Delhi. Luckily we found Manali Cooking school and were happy to discover the prices were very reasonable. Even though the school was hard to find, once there we had a very nice personalized cooking experience. The food was very fresh and delicious! Highly recommended if you have a free day in Manali and want to experience authentic Indian cuisine and culture.

Though it was a bit frustrating to find at first, I had a great time here. Narvada was an excellent yet patient teacher, and provided the course at an exceptional price. Highly recommended if you've got a free day in Manali. To get there, take an auto rickshaw to Vashisht village, and have the driver drop you off at Sita Cottage Hotel. Next to the hotel is a set of concrete steps that lead to a path which will take you to the cooking school.
