β β β β β Mangalagiri is quite famous for handloomed cotton sarees. I travelled from Vijayawada to mangalagiri just to shop sarees for my family. The highway journey is pleasurable with nice views of krishna river
In mangalagiri it is bit difficult to reach by car so I advice to take bike or you can park the car at near by temple and walk.
The shop is situated in domestic area with no signs of external signs but there are signs for guiding to the shop.
Shop is a single room with moderate collection of sarees and dress materials. One thing we need to remember before judging the collection here is "they weave the sarees and sell". Adjacent to the shop there is process of weaving.
Cotton, semi silk, pochampalli sarees are main fabrics available.
I advice to buy from them and support handloomers.

β β β β β Though the store set up is relatively small, this shop sells authentic Mangalagiri Sarees and Dresses. Here, you get the opportunity to see the looms and weaving process before entering the shop. The shop is located in a narrow street but worth visiting it. They do have car parking for one or two vehicles.
