This masjid was made by Emperor Aurengzeb.
Only this Majid have the option of Late Jamat for Juma' in Aurangabad 3:45 PM.
Free food for all needy people
Free acomodation for people visting GMH with patient who dont have enough money to accomodate and many more humanity activities are carried out in this masjid

Still the tradition is continued and food is being distributed amongst visitors from medical hospital nearby and amongst poor individuals.
Jamil baig is as old as panchaki is, the construction is identical to many of the old buildings and masjids already present in the city.
People are warm welcomed and always asked to join for the food, no matter he or she belongs to which religion all are equally treated here.
Anyone want to give charity for this purpose they can directly give by contacting the responsible people serving to masjid from decades.
Namaze jummah is offered very late on 3:30 pm which is considered the last namaz all around the masjids of the city on the day of Friday (jummah).
