★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here are the divine eyes mata sati and one of the 52 shaktipeeths . During navratras there is very long line in the temple for darshan . There are a lot of dharamshalas near the temple area. The temples opens at 4 o'clock in the morning and closes at 10 in night . From the temple govind sagar can be seen. Even the death place of jeona mod is also visible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Temple of Shri Naina Devi Ji is situated on a hilltop, base of which also has samadhi of bhagat Jatt Jeona Morh, in the Bilaspur District, Himachal Pradesh, India. The temple is connected with National Highway No. 21. The temple at the top of the hill can be reached via road (that curves round the hill up to a certain point) and then by concrete steps . There is also a cable car facility that moves pilgrims from the base of the hill all the way to the top.
The hills of Naina Devi overlook the Gobind Sagar lake. The lake was created by the Bhakra-Nangal Dam.

Shri Naina Devi Ji Temple is one of the most prominent places of worship in Himachal Pradesh and is dedicated to Goddess Sati, who was an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Surrounded by Govind Sagar Lake and Bharka Dam, the Naina Devi temple at Bilaspur is about 15 kms from Ganguwal and about 18-km from Anandpur Sahib. Like most of the Indian Shaktipeethas in the country, the origin of this famous and one of the most revered shrines also dates back to the self-immolation of ‘Sati.’ Nanina Devi as the name suggests is believed to be the place where the eyes of Sati fell.
