Matra-Chhaya Boys Hostel Managed by Career Point, Kota - Kota

PROS: 1. Most of the time, staff is supportive and nice. 2. Rooms are of perfect size (neither too big neither too small). They are cleaned daily by workers. 3. Parking lot is big and secure. 4. CCTV in corridors, stairs and hall provide more safety. 5. Medical Immergencies are handled preety well. 6. Separate ac room for reading newspaper, or studies (open 24hrs) if you wish to study there. 7. No problem with water supplies or so. Both drinking water and tap water is available 24/7. CONS 1. Electricity rates and room rents is a bit overpriced. 2. Food quality and taste is not upto the mark (as per the price you pay) 3. Rules are a lil bit harsh. 4. Stay for students parents costs around ₹500 - ₹700 per day which is too much as you already pay ₹15000 a month. 5. NO LIFT a four floor hostel should have a lift in my concern. OVERALL - As an individual has to stay there only for 2-3 years you can definitely consider staying in this hostel.

Its a quite impressive hostel of career point and all the facilities are amazing regarding to the location of the hostel.......

The hostel is good with friendly staff and the food is moderate . The facilities are great like hot water , drinking water , laundry etc...

I would suggest you not to take this hostel infact do not take any hostel in electronic complex . I'm writing this review after 2 years as i thought that i should tell my experience during my stay . 'IF' you can go upto 18k rent then you shouldn't join this hostel as they are not going to offer even 3/4th of your money. I joined this hostel in may 2017.I was a student of vibrant academy and due to its proximity to the coaching i joined it. Certainly i checked for the food quality and other things but i was deceived as what they do is they try to serve decent food suring start of the session so that parents are satisified and you enroll yourself and pay the security deposit of near 13k along with the first month rent(13k) at my time. The most important fact that most parents forget is that they dont have a kitchen their food comes from other hostels they only have a mess. Now they start playing their games .After the 1st month their quality of food depreciates over time and at some point it'll become inedible . And food is an important part during your preparation in kota I'm not saying your food should be luxurious but atleast it should be edible One of the fraud they do is that in the name of paneer they feed you Tofu its made up of soya milk and looks like paneer and most people cant figure out as they are unaware of tofu type such thing.and the milk they provide has some powdery substance one can notice after thay kept their milk standing for half an hour which proves they provide adulterated food. Their windows are not even built well because during the rainy season waters used to leak out through the corners into my room and their cleaning staff is another headache and its situated almost in a market place as during the evening time crowd of student They even add some red powder into their cleaning tanks which results in muddy water that you can't even take bath and when you complain they start saying that you're overeacting and you should focus on your studies. And the worst thing if by chance you miss the dinner than after 9 pm you cant even step out of the main gate to take your order and the most cringe part lies in the fact that they are even considerate about the fact that the food you order shouldn't be nonveg even if its pizza .one of the staff member even came to check that everything thing I've ordered is veg only I had to shift in midsession to a nearby hostel named fortuna icon as it was 4000 more than their rent i.e. 17k and everything about fortuna icon is good enough that you wont be bothered about the essential and petty things and you can concentrate more on your studies. This was my experience during my stay and nothing i told here is made up .for those who can afford fortuna icon or similar hostel must go blindly as they are trying their best to make your every rupee worth. and if you can pay 15k then dont worry about adding 3k more as it will save you from the troubles and if you can't afford then go for a PG and a nearby mess.

Super Hygienic and Peaceful place for students, Staffs are very supportive.

Excellent food....food was prepared in the hostel .....so any type of changes in food is comfortably accepted..... electricity bill was also fine not much.........games like TT ,chess ,carrom, badminton ............whole hostel had ac ....no fans ,except in your rooms ... Love this place and diffinetly recommended

Very good location , rooms and other facilities , good effort made by the management of career point , this hostel is available for all coaching students. The is also reasonable according to the area but they need to work a bit more on the taste of food.
