β β β β β Mayurmahal name itself signifies the rich tradition of this place since the time of the great dynasty. The famous historic place of Burdwan is also a place of a picturesque pandal during Durgapuja. This is one of the favourite locations for pandal hoppers. The location is quite tough to locate for the outsiders. The nirvik sangha adjacent to Burdwan Rajbati may act as a landmark for the first time goers. Overall arrangement and maintenance is superb.

Mayur Mahal..a place of old, glorious, kingly Bardhaman become a place of oblivion. But miracles do happen...five successive superhit Durga Pujas... they are again back with a bang. The Buddha Tathagata theme is good but great is their Ma... Devi Durga herself.
