★ ★ ★ ★ ★ అలమేలుమంగా సహిత వేంకటేశ్వరుడు, మీసాల వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి, చల్ది కూడు వెంకన్న అని ఈ దేవాలయంకు పేర్లు. సుమారు15వ శతాబ్దంలో రాజమహేంద్రవరం మహారాజులు నిర్మించిన, అత్యంత మహిమగల దేవాలయం ఇది. గుడి ప్రాచీనమైపోవటంతో కొత్త గుడి నిర్మించేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నారు. అప్పటివరకూ ఆలయంలోని విగ్రహాలను ప్రక్కనే క్రొత్తగా చిన్న ఆలయం నిర్మించి అందులో పెట్టి పూజాదికాలు నిర్వహిస్తూన్నారు. బ్రిటిష్ పాలనలో శారదా యాక్ట్ ద్వారా రాజా రామ్మోహన్ రాయ్ సూచనలతో బాల్య వివాహాలు నిషేధించిన సమయంలో, ఈ ప్రాంతం ఫ్రెంచ్ ప్రభుత్వ పాలనలో ఉన్న కారణంగా ఇక్కడ నిషేధం లేదు, దేశంలోని వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి ఇక్కడికి వచ్చి వివాహాలు చేసుకునేవారు. అందుకే దీనికి కళ్యాణపురం అనికూడా పేరు.
గుడికి దగ్గర్లోనే 1950 లో తయారుచేసిన 18 టన్నుల రథం ఉంది. ప్రతీ సంవత్సరం మార్చి ప్రాంతంలో విశేష వేడుకలు నెల పొడుగునా జరుగుతాయి. లక్షలమంది భక్తులు ఈ వేడుకలకు వస్తారు.
గుడి వద్ద రోడ్డు సన్నగా, పార్కింగ్ కి ఇబ్బందికరంగా ఉంటుంది. Oneway కూడా ఉంది . అది google maps లో చూపించదు.
This temple is named after Venkateshvara, Mysala Venkateswara Swamy and Chaldi Vankanna. It is one of the most magnificent temples built by the Maharaja of Rajahmundry in the 15th century. Since the temple is old, arrangements are made to construct a new temple. A new small temple was built next to the idols of the temple and then held by the priests. During the British rule, child marriages were banned by Raja Ramohan Roy's references through the Saradha Act, because the region was under the rule of the French Government and did not prohibit it from various states of the country. That is why it is also Kalyanapuram.
There is a 18-tonne chariot made in the 1950s near the church. Special celebrations take place throughout the month of March every year. Millions of devotees come to this celebration.
The road at the temple is thinner and the parking lot is embarrassing. There is also Oneway. It does not show up on google maps.
