It is near to Memari check post. So people can catch the buses of Tarakeshwar from there. Lot of shops are available here. So people can buy their daily used items after getting down from the buses and before going to home.

The main bus stand connecting all the regions covered by the extreme point like Katowa, Kalna, Bardhaman, thus including important places like Maldanga, Monteswar, Kusumgram, Satgachia, Dainhat, Bulbulitala, Dhatrigram etc. This bus stand is well maintained. There are certain rules for the bus, all the buses should depart and arrive at exact time, not before or not after, otherwise fine will be imposed. It also has certain stalls for snacks and sweets. Snacks here is totally of origin village culture i.e. chop, luchi, muri etc not that like urban are. There is also a bank here.
