1. Easily accessible from KR market bus stand. On the left while walking on Godown street from SJP road towards SP road. If it's your first time finding it, look upwards for a blue name board with white letters.
2. Exquisite collection of handles (for wooden/glass doors/cabinets), tower bolts, hinges, push magnets and stoppers, door locks, hangers, hooks, kitchen fittings and other hardware fittings.
3. Competitive prices for the quality offered. Dealers for brands such as Hafele, Hettich, Dorset, Dorma, Ebco, Yale, Evershine, Ozone, SAP hardware, etc. Good discounts on upcoming brands.
4. Courteous staff. Assisted me in visiting a company display center when I was unsure of products of a certain brand. They also helped me carry my purchases (of over 30kg) and even assisted me in finding transport.
What could be better:
1. Wait time to procure after placing order. I've almost always had to wait, sometimes over 30 minutes. Better finish your other work (if any) during this time or order by phone and have them take care of transportation.
2. Although I have been a repeat customer since 12 years and have not had any issues, warranty terms for certain brands still remain hazy.
3. Parking for 2 wheelers is allowed on the same road but almost always full and unavailable. Better get there on foot or call if you're sure of what you want to get. Uber/autos/bus are better taken to/from market SJP road end of Godown street (and not from Godown street itself)
My opinion:
The shortcomings are mostly a defacto of how businesses operate in this part of town and is something to live with. Metro Hardware has consistently kept up the quality, trust, service and has always been accommodative of any reasonable requests. Rating a full 5/5.
