★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a pair of footwear on the 15th of April 2019 from Metro Shoes at Acropolis. I wore that only 4 days till the 25th. That broke in the morning of 25th while I was walking on street.
I took the pair for repairing on the 29th. The repairing card was given 25th May 2019 as the date of delivery (almost a month!!!). On query the person on duty said- they were sending that to Mumbai. Probably the company would replace it with a new one before the given date or get it repaired. The shop was supposed to call me.
Without receiving their call I visited twice in this month, and was told that it is under repairing. I again visited on the 27th- it was not delivered. So I informed the help desk of Acropolis. The representative of Metro shoes said they would call me on the 28th. But again there was no call. Ultimately today on my visit the pair was replaced with a new one.
I wonder who would compensate for the loss that I have experienced after buying this so called branded product!!! The harassment, the loss of- time, energy, money that I had for the first time in my life are enough to upset the mental state of a senior lady like me. I wish the company concentrates on producing quality products and put an end to such incidence.
To add again- yesterday, the 22nd June 2019- I found that the replaced pair of my footwear already started splitting- the right sole is almost totally out and I am far away from Kolkata!
I am back home after almost a month. Tried the same footwear while going out for shopping. Do you all know the result? Let me add a few more photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store location at Acropolis mall in Kolkata is not good. I just happened to find it when I was searching for Shoe stores. Nonetheless the staff and the footwear collection are good. The only downside is that the Pricing is a bit steep but otherwise a great experience.
The service her is very good, better than the Bata store whose collection is pathetic and staff is equally bad.
