★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serenely beautiful morning walk, close to kothrud. Mhatoba temple can be walket up to either from Vanaz side maruti mandir near new metro car shed, or from ARAI side. Walk from ARAI is more beautiful though; 3 km one side. ARAI gate closes at 7.30 am so you need to get in before that. You can get out any time after that. You can also get in at evening once the gate reopens at 5.30 pm.
The walk is densely forested with many full grown trees. It good for birding also. You see some peacocks and rabbits occasionally.
IMPORTANT NOTE:-
PLEASE DON'T LITTER ANY PLASTIC WASTE. DO SOME PLOGGING AND CLEAN THE FOREST OF LITTER. AND WATER THE SMALLER NEWLY PLANTED SAPPLINGS IF YOU CAN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The track to the temple is nice. There is solitude and the sounds of nature as you run or walk the trail. The temple however is a bit of a let down. It's just a bit plain. Mediocre RCC construction, painted in an ugly shade of blueish grey.
The trail however more than makes up for it. It is breathtaking. The never ending steps leading to the temple are a good work out as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small secluded temple surrounded by trees and forest trails. A must visit place for all nature lovers. It will definitely make your trip peaceful. Its surprising to see the scenic views in the heart of city.
It appears that they have a plot just besides the temple n planted bamboo trees. After few years its going to be an amazing place!
Sincere request to everyone who visit, please do not pollute n violate sanctity of this place. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good trail of around 6 km overall. Calm and quite place for meditation in presence of Pecocks.if you want to enjoy natura calmness, quiteness alomg wirh Nature Music like various bird's chirping. Then this is the place where you can go, very near to city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mhatoba Temple situated on the hill behind Right Bhusari Colony, Kothrud. The temple is accessible for both Kothrud and Pashan side.
The Temple is believed to be Gram Daiwat of Kothrud.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mhatoba temple comes under Bhamburda reserve forest .... the old temple is renewed with new constraction .... and has setup with open gym near temple .... viwe around the temple is beautiful ....many peoples comes there for mornning and evening walk .... nice place to visit with friends and family

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to do morning walk up the hill and 175 plus steps to reach the Mhatoba temple to get darshan. Fresh Air, Lush green Jungle trails and Beautiful morning view of the city on the sunrise makes the place special for so many of us from kids to youngsters to sr. citizens.
