★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This service center REFUSED to fix a hardware issue (replace batteries) without formatting the device. Why should I lose data over hardware issue?
We customers have to fight back or these idiots will just try to do whatever they want without any logic.
They won't sell the battery either. Even I can do it myself at home if I get the original battery.
No reason to lose data over battery replacement.
Shame on Xiaomi.
I have been a long time customer and buying MI phones since redmi 1s. I have 1s, 4i, Rn3p, 4a, rn8p, poco, rn6p and so on.
Earlier there was a different service center whose manager used to listen to customers but now neither this service center nor the customer care is listening or trying to help customers.
I'll probably move to oneplus after this nonsense.
Also they're strategically not making parts available for older phones. On one hand they shout about green environment and on the other hand they are not giving spare parts and thereby increasing e-waste. They want people to buy newer phones that's the only reason they're doing this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. My Mi TW 2C got an issue (later confirmed manufacturing defect by service personal) within three month of purchase, I bought it here for repairing. Surprise Surprise, they just replaced my TWS with brand new ones by producing the online bill to them. The stuffs are polite and helpful, my entire process was completed within 1 hour.
(Note: To avoid hassles, book appointment prior online using 'Mi service manager', and get an appointment instead just walking straight into the center).
