Midnight Kakery - Pune

Location & ambience : Midnight Kakery is a cute little cafe tucked up in Kothrud with a lively ambience. They've got an outdoor seating space with some pretty lights which would enlighten your mood. Food & Beverages : Midnight Kakery started with some really amazing desserts and cakes but over the period of time they have now extended their menu to savoury bites as well. Everything they serve is made in house, from breads to toppings to sauces and is absolutely organic and free of preservatives and chemicals. I tried - Mediterranean Open Puffs : These make for a delicious savoury bite where their in house puff pastry is baked with a filling of olives, jalapenos and lots of cheese - Garlic Bread with cheese : The speciality of this garlic bread is that garlic and herbs are put inside the bread while baking it to enhance the taste. The garlic bread loaf is shredded with a generous amount of cheese and baked till golden perfection. - Basil Pesto and Bufala Mozzarella Toastie : Thick toasted slices of bread with generous amount of basil pesto spread over it, topped with Bufala Mozzarella and finally finished with cute little cheery tomatoes. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* - Paneer Tikka Sandwich : The desi style traditional marinated paneer stuffed in their non bromated bread with some crunchy onions. - Roasted peppers and mozzarella sandwich : House made Bread stuffed with roasted bell peppers, seasoned with Sriracha, topped with cow's milk mozzarella and oven grilled till perfection. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* - Hot Chocolate : What's better than a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter night? Hot chocolate is a luxury of cold weather — a warm, velvety-smooth mixture of rich cream and dark chocolate that does double duty as a drink and dessert. They have moved a bit out the box for their hot Chocolates as well and have come up with a variety of flavours like Peppermint, Mocha, Cinnamon Spice etc.) My absolute favourite is the cinnamon spice. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* Staff & Service It was lovely meeting Mr. Prasad and Mrs. Shruti. They serve each and every dish with such warmth and affection. Value for Money 5/5

This is One of the best bakeries I have visited so far which specializes in deserts and cakes. When you enter it is a very normal sitting arrangement tables and chairs but the green mat really makes it stand out. Inside the bakery hygiene is strictly maintained, which was a plus point for me as I want my food to be made in such an environment. The bread is so good I can not express enough, the texture, the softness and the taste is just amazing. Me and my sis are in love with their hot chocolate and also their mint hot chocolate. The best thing about their mint hot chocolate is when I had the first sip, it took me down into memory lane when my aunt used to bring me “After Eight “ chocolate which she used to bring from Australia when I was like 5 year old. I kid you not but those who have had after eights know what I’m talking about when they have their first sip of this minty goodness. I have never seen thicker and richer hot chocolate than this one. So this is a must try here! Now the garlic bread with cheese. The bread is made in house filled with cheese from fresh cows milk. As you will taste the difference in it. Those who like English break fast kinda thing, the toasties here are for them. Sundried Tomato Pesto on toasties along with seasoned boiled eggs and some micro herbs to give a nice garnish. Now let’s talk about their coffee. They have 100% Arabica coffee which itself is a challenge to work with but they do it just right. 1.Iced latte 2.Iced Americano 3.Cappuccino 4.Espresso – for those who really love coffee shots. So, overall I’m surprised and happy that something so good has been so near to my house and I tried this few days back. Food 5/5 Ambience 3/5 Coffee 4/5 Overall 5/5

This is one of the must try pattiseries in Pune, vibrant and lit up ambience, friendly & helpful staff, clean & hygienic place. Seating arrangement is outdoor. They offer a variety of desserts. Although the prices are a bit high, the quality & quantity compensates for the same. Must try: Cajun spice fries, garlic bread with cheese, mushroom sandwich with cheddar cheese, macaroons (any flavour), tiramisu, death by hot chocolate (with or without marshmallows), chocolate gateaux, cake pops, red velvet cream cheese, eve's dessert. There are many more options in desserts and other dishes which I've yet to try, so I shall definitely revisit.. Coz its a very happy go lucky place to hangout & enjoy with family, friends and colleagues!

Midnight Kakery serve wondrous croissants, gourmet sandwiches and amazing baked dishes and some interesting drinks to go along with their already amazing cakes and desserts. FOOD Puff Pizza - A beautifully flaky, buttery and crisp puff pastry absolutely brimming with gooey cheese, bell peppers and olives. It's like having a pizza in tart form! So good! The crisp and gooey textures and the cheesy buttery flavours with tangy olives cutting through was just perfect! Pesto and Mozzarella Croissant Sandwich - First of all, let me tell you the croissant was bloody amazing. So delicate, crisp, uber buttey and flaky. One of the best in Pune no doubt. Very few places get it this right. Then, the innards of the sandwich were so delicious too! Tomatoes, gooey creamy buffalo mozzarella with a perfect fresh basil pesto! This sandwich is a perfect example of how basic, simple but very well put together ingredients can produce magic! This sandwich was served with spicy and tangy Sriracha sauce. First I thought it was ketchup and was going to have a fit! But one taste and I realised how good the combination of the sandwich and sriracha tasted. Polar opposite characteristics adding a wonderful zing to the sandwich. Has anyone else noticed something strange? Yes, I haven't tasted anything non-vegetarian yet, but still I'm raving about the food! That's how good it is. But don't worry, they serve chicken and eggs too! Cajun Chicken Sandwich - Crusty soft baugette with some grilled chicken, some simple but wonderful cajun spices finished off with some mint mayo. Wow! The creaminess, the freshness of the mint and heartiness of the cajun infused chicken was amazing. Really cozy feel good sandwich. DESSERTS - Prepare yourself! After the savouries, I felt a childlike excitement when Shruti and Prasad said, you can go in and choose your own dessert! Peering through the cabinet, with my enormous nose poking at the glass, we ordered 2 desserts and 2 macarons. But then Prasad came back with their Mango Rose Cake as well in tow! Black Forrest Entremet - If you're wondering why the photo doesn't match the "Black Forrest Cake' description, it's because, they just took the ingredients of a typical black forrest cake and build their own crazy twisted version! Beautiful grey exterior, so luscious, so sinful! Bittersweet chocolate mousse on the outside with fresh cream and tangy berry compote layers inside just made it into a different experiernce all together! I'm hooked! Tiramisu - Oh wow! Creamy, light and fluffy tiramisu unlike most places that make it with a sponge cake instead of ladyfinger biscuit! Perfectly sweet and slightly bitter with loads of coffee! I first had Tiramisu in Palolem at the Magic Italy Pizzeria, which is run by an Italian family and I've been trying to find something as good as that ever since and I've finally found a contender. This is hands down the closest to the original authentic Tiramisu! The talent and hard work shows! But I do have one thing to say, the ladyfinger biscuits surrounding the tiramisu, look good, but feel a bit dry. We kept taking them off and going for just the stuff inside. This could be fixed. Macarons - Really nice crumbly, light and airy with perfect fillings! The Caramel Sea Salt and Coffee macarons were just on point! Intense flavour and amazing texture! May be not the best in Pune, but up there! Mango Rose Cake - I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of this concept and I had it for the first time here, but I loved the cake. So light fluffy and the artistically arranged fresh mango cannot be beat! It's a perfect little dessert for summers! VERDICT There is no doubt this place is one of the best patisseries and cafes of Pune. Great open air ambiance and just exceptional food and desserts! It's a perfect place to hang out, have some delicious coffee, chill with a croissant sandwich and a dessert! That too in the all too familiar setting of Kothrud! The hard work and dedication just shows in the quality of the food!

I really like these macaroons . They have a good selection of flavors and are delicious! I have order raspberry chocolate and rose flavour & just loved it Packing is also owl printed box ( I loved box too ??) Definitely recommend ..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I might sound stupid to you if I say that I travel from Hinjewadi to this place just because of the amazing food and service they got. The first time I visited this place was for hot chocolates. We were 6 friends and we ordered all 7 flavors of hot chocolate. And my next visit with another few friends ended up with all those 7 flavors of hot chocolate and too many lip-smacking dishes. We ordered Aloo Chaat Puffs, Garlic Bread with cheese, Toastie: Basil Pesto with Bufala Mozarella, Cajun spiced chicken sandwich, Paneer Tikka Sandwich, Pickled peppers with Mozarella Sandwich and Chicken Tikka Sandwich. Aloo Chaat Puffs were just baked to the crisp with spicy and tangy flavours. Then, the garlic bread was stuffed with thick slices of fresh cow's milk mozarella cheese and gives an amazing pull. Same goes with the toastie, a good amount of mozarella cheeze on top with cherry tomatoes. All the sandwiches were different in it's own way. The stuffing tasted too fresh and the grilled breads were aptly crusty creating a winning combination. Coming to the hot chocolates, not a single flavor would ever disappoint you. But my personal favorites are mocha and death by chocolate. The breads, desserts and cakes are made in house and without any added chemicals and preservatives. You would fall in love with the creamy crumb and crunchy crust of the loafs they offer.

Midnight Kakery is surely an amazing and quite unique cafe with amazing desserts and savoury dishes like croissants and l sandwiches as well as coffee and hot chocolates. After seeing so many posts and as suggested by my friends finally visited this place one fine evening. The cafe has a lively ambience with outdoor seating space. So after going through their menu couldn't really think what to start with first. But then here is a glimpse of what I had tried: So started with the Aloo Chat puffs which was light and buttery.The Garlic bread with cheese was so cheesy and delicious.The garlic bread was made in house and was a perfect  appetizer! There are few dishes which are so good at some places that one feels like trying it. Pickled peppers with Mozzarella and Toastie were the ones from the menu. We ordered it and I was in awe! It was scrumptious and cooked to perfection, well garnished! The other main that is a must to try out is the Hot Chocolate. I have no words to say about but just that you cant expect something better than that! All the Hot Chocolate flavors were simply amazing and scrumptious. It was so smooth and I would highly recommend it! Totally a standout! Overall, the place justifies your experience and is a great junction to come with your friends and have some amazing food.

An aesthetically pleasing dessert shop situated in the main road. With its fairy lights, outdoor seating and pastel decor it definitely pulls you towards it. The place has a chic and cozy vibe that would be an instant hit. The outdoor seating with grass and fairy lights and comfortable seating is definitely a crowd pleaser. We ordered- Nutella cheesecake-1000/10 Sea salt caramel macaron- 1000/10 The dessert absolutely are the showstopper. They were baked to perfection to the point that I was made it was over. I ordered two of both and finished both of them in one go. The vibe and the food completely stole the show and what made this visit even more perfect is the warm, welcoming and courteous staff this place had. An A+ visit all in all. If you have a cheat day this is the must visit place in your list. I visit it every chance I get. You just cannot go wrong with this place.
