★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Milan Sangha Bayamagar is a fitness training center situated in New Alipore. It is located near to Hindustan Sweets Bus Stop in New Alipore.
It is an old yet prestigious place. Besides regular gymnasium, you can also get training on Karate and Kick Boxing. Fees for each of these training are very economical and reasonable. Usually the gym is open at the morning till before afternoon and then again in the evening. The gym has several equipment and fitness supply, contrast to the idea of people who think that since the fees structure is very low, there might not be enough equipment or space to workout in. The gym is a Non-A.C. one, but is enough spacious and hygienic. It is mostly occupied during the evening and also during the later parts of the daytime. But people can easily get access to all the equipments as required if they come at the gym during the morning hours. They have also got several coaches for their gymnasium to guide people anytime as required. They also have good faculty and trainers for Karate and Kick Boxing.
They hold an Annual Bodybuilding Show, where several Bodybuilders, Gymnasts and Athletes take part into. This is a time when this place is visited by many people around the city. The stage show continues for two days. Another great time to visit this place is during Kali Puja/ Diwali. Goddess Kali is paid homage on the occasion of Dipanwita Kali Puja. The place is beautifully decorated with lights and colors. Bhog is prepared on the night of Kali Puja and is distributed among devotees on the next day. Several charity functions are also held during this time of the year.
