एक प्रयोग करके देखें । गेहूं का आटा पिसवा कर उसे 2 महीने स्टोर करने का प्रयास करें।,आटे में कीड़े पड़ जाना स्वाभाविक हैं, आप आटा स्टोर नहीं कर पाएंगे।
फिर ये बड़े बड़े ब्रांड आटा कैसे स्टोर कर पा रहे हैं? यह सोचने वाली बात है।
एक केमिकल है- बेंजोयलपर ऑक्साइड, जिसे ' फ्लौर इम्प्रूवर ' भी कहा जाता है। इसकी पेरमिसीबल लिमिट 4 मिलीग्राम है, लेकिन आटा बनाने वाली फर्में 400 मिलीग्राम तक ठोक देती हैं। कारण क्या है? आटा खराब होने से लम्बे समय तक बचा रहे। बेशक़ उपभोक्ता की किडनी का बैंड बज जाए।
