This happened twice with me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location: Behind Newtown bus stand after a Chinese MNC building. Take the service road on the left while facing RAJARHAT (kolkata gate).
Visibility: Difficult to notice from the main road.
Utilities: Diesel and petrol pump
Authorized for vehicle Pollution check.
Purchase of motor vehicle lubricants etc.
Purchase methods: Cash, cards, NFC mobile payments.
Crowd: Expect a delay of 30 to 40 mins for Pollution checks. Rush on weekdays.
An acceptable delay of 10 to 15 mins for gasoline disbursement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Service Station is very conviniently located and clearly visible from the main arterial road in New Town. This primarily serves as Indian Oil service station. It has a large space but not properly utilized. Most of the time it has a long queue for refueling. Currently undergoing renovation.
The tyre air servicing has both regular and nitrogen air filling facilities. Most of the time one or other facilities are out of service.
This also has a smog testing and PUC certification facility which does not have good customer service. Their method of testing also seems ackward maybe due to outdated testing equipment. They may also charge more than the actual pescribed rate.
Out of the other facilities, it has car tyre servicing which deals with puncture repair and selling used tyre. They have bad service which is also overpriced.
Except refueling other services are not recommended.
