Description

The artistic freedom of three dynamic women with a common passion for art had given birth to Melange Art and Mirage Creations. Mirage Creations is an effort to make time and culture stand still and give flight to the minds of all those whose essence of life is imagination and innovation. Different cultures and mindsets inspire the work of Mirage creations, be it Victorian Oil paintings, Thanjavur Tanjore paintings, Gujarat’s lapan, Reproductions of great artists, a personal touch is been added to each on them.

Neeta Rallan

From childhood, I had interest in painting and dancing. In my summer vacation my mother used to make me join Painting Classes. Art was my passion be it Dance & Painting. I did my B.A and M.A in Dance & Music.

Painting was my hobby then. I used to make Oil Painting and gift it to my friends and relatives. Everybody used to convince me pursue my hobby to profession. In 1986, when I got married.  I had lot of free time. So I decided to pursue painting as my profession. I started taking orders also. The first order was reproduction of great artist of Germany. Then my husband got transferred to Chandigarh. There too I started putting Exhibitions in different cities eg. Delhi – Pragati Maidan. I started dealing in pots and paintings and love teaching because you not only teach students but also learn from them. After staying 6 years in Chandigarh my husband again got transferred to Delhi. Now I am staying in Gurgaon and taking orders and classes. I have done big orders, now I am into exports. I am exporting Tanjores and Relief work to London and United States of America. There is no end to anything, still I am learning.

Vijaya Khurana

I Vijaya Khurana come from the defence background, since my childhood, my family was posted in different states of India. Each state fascinated me with its individual and unique culture which helped me expanding my creativity. I used to express my thoughts through sketching. I did my graduation from Delhi University and have a diploma in Interiors Designing and also did multimedia course from Arena Multimedia.

I tied the nuptial knot in 1993 and was blessed with my elder daughter Nikhita In 1994 and Twin Daughters Neha & Nidhi in 1996. As the pressure of household chores eased with my kids growing up, my husband Yogesh Khurana encouraged me to join Art classes with Neeta Rallan. Before I knew its three of us – Neeta Rallan, Shruti Nagpal & I had formed a group to convey our hobby in to profession. We explore new ideas, experimenting with new mediums. Together we set up a studio and started producing innovative Art Forms and taking orders, now my passion had become my profession.
