★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had 3 fountain pens to repair- Schaefer, Parker, and Elysée. I did not bargain, as I had no hope they could be easily repaired. And within half hour, all 3 were serviced and writing smoothly. Repairing Schaefer nib cost me Rs200, repairing the Parker refillable cartridge cost me Rs50 and servicing the Elysée, a company that no longer makes fountain pens cost me Rs50. The shop is now maintained by the 3rd generation of fountain pen experts. I was looking for a vintage Waterman pen with a narrow barrel. Mr.Taher Mitha showed me a 1960s Waterman, with a syringe type cartridge. I haven't seen such a cartridge in my life. The going price was Rs1500. I had to decline the offer for next time. Overall, it was a nostalgic and fully satisfying experience.
