Modern Art Gallery was founded in 2011 in a heritage building adjoining the Kashmere Gate Monument, which is at the fringe of the Walled City of Shahajahanbad. In 2018, we launched our second gallery in the diplomatic enclaves of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Since its inception, MAG has worked towards featuring diverse artists, particularly the emerging artists of India. MAG's position as an artistic interlocutor with the public is especially vital in Central and North Delhi because of the lack of any such Gallery in close vicinity.
It has been an exciting time working closely with some of India's finest artists from different generations. Our gallery houses works of some Indian masters such as Lalu Prasad Shaw, Jogen Chowdhury and MH Hussain. We have had a long track record with the Senior Artists such as Thota Vaikuntham, Subrata Gangopadhya, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Shyamal Mukherjee, Parish Maity, Vijender Sharma, Biplab Biswas, Laxma Gaud and Ramesh Gorjala, who are also internationally acclaimed.

owner- price btane ka fayeda nhi aap nhi loge...( U will not buy so I will not tell price)
Me-- I said mam kya yeh sale ke liye nhi hai ( are these not for sale)
Owner lady( these are but u will not buy because you are a Sikh and my many frndz will not buy ganesha.
Now that is a very religious judging and very streotypical comments made by lady owner.
I said being a Sikh we visit temple and my mom recite Hanuman chalisa .....I said u r sounding very Rude mam.Then mam got angry....no use of fighting with over proudly people..
Being the age of my mother I hesitated to said anything further....
She said leave our shop...and said the helper inko bhaar nikalo ....
This is the behaviour she is using for customers.
I said mam I wanted to appreciate ur paintings but u r not worthy .of any appreciation..
No worries KARMA is big thing mam....it will return....spread smile not hate and negativity.....insaniyat sikho madam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The national gallery has a wide collection of really beautiful paintings that are aesthetically appealing as well. One can enjoy these paintings at a minimal entry price.
The gallery in itself is really beautiful and one can enjoy here for hours without getting bored.
