★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The uncle who owns the place is a very good person and makes you feel very welcomed. He is very friendly and gives good advice on books. A peaceful atmosphere in the store as well. Good collection. Some rare books you wont find at most places, you will find here. I like!, and also I consider it having a heritage value for the city. Much recommended !

We are like friends now and amidst my buying, he keeps giving tiny advices for a better life and how to be a better person... I really found an amazing friend and a place amidst that chaos in Esplanade.. ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You don't really hear people talking of this shop. Infact, the store is situated amidst of a thick hustle-bustle of the New Market area and it's too possible that you'd miss it.
But stepping on the porch itself feels like homecoming. You can find some really unique books in here. And if there's any book you're seeking, you can give them the details and they'd try and arrange the book for you.
The shop owner is a well-versed gentleman and everytime I go here, I end up having a heart-warming talk with him about books and what-not.
