* Famously known as "Puttinillu of Kanaka Durga" (Native Place before moving to Indrakeeladri).
* Timings :7am to 1pm & 5pm to 7pm
* Crowded time : Weekends
~ Parking : No proper place to park especially for cars.
~ Washrooms : Until now there is no provision..in midway they're under construction going on.
~ Reach : 5 route buses can be taken or share autos run from both Bus stand and Railway station. Depart at Jammi Chettu Centre Petrol bunk and head northwards straight..Around 30 minutes walk from the centre. The way to the temple has 2 ways through the houses and then slope path.
$ Now a days Crowd is increasing and the Government needs to step in and make proper arrangements for Parking/Washrooms/ Drinking water/ Rest zone / Roofing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I along with my family went for the first time to dhanakonda durgamma temple. We came to know about this temple through youtube. Autos are available for transportation, if one who wants to travel by bus they have to choose the buses to stop at moghalrajpuram petrol bunk bus stop (generally 5th number root buses are available also 333 (i am mentioning what i saw)) and from there we have to walk. In case of auto, it directly drops at starting of steps to the temple. From there we have to follow the steps (these are in between the houses). First we will reach vinayaka temple, from there we have to walk upwards to reach the durgamma temple. This temple is getting known to the people slowly and need a proper recognisation from government for its further devolopment. Those who have severe knee pains and too old people have to think before going there as the travelling is by walk only. The view of vijayawada city from the temple is super. Finally it was a nice experience. Timings of the temple are from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.
