The fafda, kadhi and papiya chutney are one of the best I have had in pune...
Patra, khandvi, dhokla, vegetable samosa( a take on Patti samosa) are absolutely wonderful to eat.
Jalebi deserves a special mention... Crunchy and hot....not excessively sweet...just the right amount
Sunday morning gujarati breakfast sorted... Will recommend and definitely repeat often.
Different from the regular south indian fair..

Morbivala sweets n namkeens
This place is tiny...but crazily good!
The line that forms here,is mind-blowing!
They open on sundays at 7.30am...with perfect packaging of kadi,white pumpkin chutney and fafda packed in a box,the jalebi's were packed in plastic bag.
We thoroughly loved the jalebi's which were crispy,juicy,delicious & how!The sweetness was just perfecttt!
The fafda had lovely texture,crunchy & tasty.
Also with flavours of ajwain & black pepper.Cud i ask for more!!!
White pumpkin chutney-This was so different!
Maybe slightly bland!
But a perfect marriage with jalebi fafda!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Morbiwala is a typically farsan (nimko) and sweet shop. In Maharishi nagar, Pune, INDIA.
They sell samosa, dhokla, kachori, gathiya phaphda, arafa, undiya,and dink laddoo.
I tried dhokla which is very soft and tasty. Dink laddoo is very very sweet. And kachori is very tasty but too salty.
Reasonable price.

Their fafda and jalebi is authentic and genuine
The fafda is freshly fried and packed
Rates are reasonable and quantity is sufficient
Things to have: Jalebi, Fafda, Khandvi, gainthya, samosa and chutney
Since the day I got to know this place, every weekend we order from here!
Do give it a shot and let your tastebuds relish on some authentic Gujarati delicacies
