★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Railway station has very bad access way. It feels like you are going on the wrong street. And after reaching there turning back is another issue. Very narrow lane. Station building is also very old. Looks like it was constructed by britishers only. No upgrades after that. Platform has very small shade. Cannot cover even five coaches. There's another access to the platform directly from the street without entering station premises which is very dangerous. A lot of people take that route for easy access.
Theres no update on train status. Not even announcement of incoming train was made when I went there to take a train to Delhi. Uogradation of station is very important these days. Morinda station is used by a lot many people these days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful place, lil far from city. Not any canteen available here. Only Drinking water and Washrooms are avaiable on this station. Here is 2 Railway Stations in Morinda city old 1 near city but new Railway station far from city.

If you are planning to come for Chandigarh University & your end destination is Morinda Jn. Please think twice.
Most likely you will not get my vehicle and neither do any cabs.
FORGET THE CABS.
In the early morning mostly everything is silent to a stand still. So don't come to this station.
