The clinic is run by Dr. Devesh Agrawal who is a paeditrician and his wife Dr. Pretti who is a Gynaecologist. It is located on 7th floor of Dlf tower (tall yellow building) at Galleria market. Once you reach the building reception, the lift on your left is the one which goes to odd floors. Staff is good, have waiting capacity of around 10 patients at a time. The staff has digitized everything, right from online appointments(Practo), to using a tablet for recording height and weight and even generating prescription by doctor through tablet to sharing prescription online. His fees is Rs. 800/- The same building also house much famed paediatrician Dr. Siddharth Gogia at 4th floor. I personally find him much better than Dr. Devesh even though he doesn't have such fancy stuffs in his sleeves. Dr. Gogia deliberates a lot before giving hard medicines to kids specially antibiotics or steroids. But for Dr. Devesh, this is not the case. Please note: I am also a parent of two kids and not affiliated with any of these doctors in any way possible (except doctor patient relationship). Doctors are good but the hospital they work for is not where I would recommend any body to get any procedure done let alone something as significant as anything related to childbirth. Epitome of Medical Negligence - You Must Read This If You'Re Planning to Go to Cloud Nine 1) Patients are discharged without doctor signing the discharge papers. No one is accountable 2) Patients are discharged without doctors, administration, nurses going through all the reports 3) Patients are discharged even when the report says that mother is suffering from severe infection 4) No one is informed of the infection or its severity unless patient asks for it or if reads the report and has technical understanding or is lucky 5) Medicines are prescribed without cross checking with the reports. Even when reports say that the bacteria infecting the mother is resistant to a particular antibiotic, the antibiotic can find place in your prescription and you can only find anomaly if you understand the technicalities 6) If you are trusting the hospital and assuming that they are there to take care of you, you are grossly mistaken 7) The nurses and the staff all are there to ensure that your bill rises 8) Everyone is an expert at subtly pushing you for methods which are going to generate higher revenue 9) Anaesthetist will not blink an eye before lying, after all they have to keep their business alive. They will say "there is no complication. there is no side effect. there is no impact on delivery or on the baby if mother goes for epidural to reduce pain in the delivery 10) Anaesthetist will find it extremely easy to blame the heart rate measuring machine when immediately after the administration of epidural, fetal heart begins to plummet beyond normal levels 11) They will prescribe you antibiotic (Amikacin) which is known to cause hearing loss and in our case, unfortunately it caused some. No one from Cloudnine monitored the patient or even informed us of the possible side effect. Thanks to the intervention by ENT specialist from a different hospital, some of the hearing loss got recovered. Cloudnine caused us weeks of stress, causing irreparable mental and physical harm to the mother. 12) Administration will evade questions when asked to share fetal heart beat chart which clearly proves that Epidural administration led to drop in the heart beat. 13) A Gynaecologist should immediately refer a patient to a physician when a patient is suffering from infection but they don't do that because that would mean they would lose the patient and the revenue 14) They don't consider you a patient. They consider you a customer. 16) They will bill you everything but forget to mention everything in the discharge summary. Since there are so many other issues with the hospital it is easy to believe this is also intentional 17) They are not transparent about billing. Would you believe that after the delivery when a doctor takes rounds and visit the room for a 2 minutes every day, patients are billed for Rs 2000 for those 2 minutes and it comes as a nice little surprise on the final day. The hospital and the staff are extremely careless and untrustworthy. Don't go to this hospital just because you think the doctors are good. Doctors become as good or bad as the hospital. Plus when doctors are loaded with more number of patients than they can see, quality is bound to suffer as it did in this case.
