We had an horrible stay at Moustache Goa - Co work. We booked 4 nights from the 29th to the 2nd of january to spend the new year there. Our room was on the ground floor, so we couldn't open the curtains, as the window was just behind a passage (plus this passage was jumbled with empty plastic bottles on the ground). Then, we discovered that we were not alone in the bedroom, as there were moths on the walls. In addition to this, an horrible smell was coming from the bathroom (we felt like vomiting while waking up in the morning). The other problem in this bathroom is that we didn't have hot water, even if it was mentioned. Last but not least, we had no WiFi in the room, even if it was a "co-work" hostel. So we had to go to the dirty common room to work. As you can guess, we were disappointed, so we tried to reach Moustache by phone to explain them the problem, and expecting a compensation from their end (as we didn't have the basics mentioned on the website, except the bed and the roof). After calling them 3 times (after hearing "we'll speak to the manager and call you back", which didn't happen), we were informed that we were offered 5% discount on our next stay to Moustache, and nothing more. Of course, the manager himself didn't take the time to call us, and asked someone else to speak to us, who just repeated "I can't help you more than this". The conclusion is : don't waste money in Moustache Goa co work :)

Bad experience! This area is far from Ashvem, Mandrem beaches. They charged us double for scooty and a lot for an extra towel. Room and bathroom had flies everywhere.. The instructions and price were not clarified in the beginning. One of my not-so great experiences in Goa.

Was skeptic before going watching the reviews, and I'm glad I took the chance. The dorms were fantastic, the hostel is in the middle of a farmland with great views and serene environment. Has a dedicated co-working space and a decent WiFi speed(That's understandable when the bandwidth is shared my many people). The host Vithoba was extremely patient with dealing things and will make things easier for you. Highly recommend going to this olace if you're looking for a peaceful workation spot.

Situated away from the busy north. Amazing place to catch-up with like minded travellers. A nice cafe associated, serving delicious food at reasonable price. Hugs to Kamlesh Bhai, for treating us well.

Honestly, this was a last-minute booking because of the peak season in Goa, everything being either super expensive or fully booked. Booked this hostel with a heavy heart because didn't know how it would turn out. The first day felt like "where did I come?!" As it turned out, after 7 nights stay, I just didn't want to leave. Extended my stay, came back from South Goa, and stayed again at the same hostel, different room. The hostel is pretty okay, there's nothing much to stay for, except the amazing bunch of people who stay there and become as you know them for years. The food is amazing, Kalpesh and his wife are such excellent cooks. I came alone and went with so many friends, memories and of course, numbers haha. Going to stay here again whenever I come again, probably soon ;) As a woman traveller, I was a little skeptic about mixed dorms - but after a day l, everything went out of the window. It all came and went so naturally, I adapted to it very smoothly, and mostly because of the fellow travelers staying there too, all men. Its a great experience as a traveller, because it makes you learn so many things about others without any biases, you try living in a coexistence.
