Treatment is good but the majority of doctor are not well behaved and nursing staff don't know how to communicate with the patients...

I am sorry to say this but that's the truth Doctors behaviour is not good with patients they communicate in bad way with the patients and don't listen to them and force them what they're saying to agree upon, My wife felt that how a Doctor could communicate in such a way.. Totally illiteracy Shows in Doctors there.. ?

This is an old hospital with lots of renovations later. This is a gynaecology (ladies medical problems) hospital mainly. I visited the hospital for my skin problem. A friend of mine told me about a famous skin doctor at the hospital. I have the skin problem since a lot of years. It sems nobody was able to diagnose. I stay at shahdara. so there are lots of hospitals near me including GTB Hospital. so i came here looking for the famous skin doctor. to my surprise the hospital was a mess. no one was talking nicely. just the usual overburdened goverment hospital. First I thought of going back but as I had arrived I thought lets give it a try. I asked for the skin doctor...got my paper made and waited outside the opd. Believe there must have been 20 patients ahead of me and 20 must have joined behind me. But the doctor was fast. My number came with in 15 minutes. I was in for a surprise. I was imagining some old lady doctor but here she was a smart doctor and young. She was to the point. She took 5 minutes and wrote the tablets and cream to me. Believe me I got results in 3 days and now after a year that thing has not returned. I really thank her. due to lockdown I couldnt come again. But last month I came to visit her and I was told she is in corona duty. I hope she resumes her clinic soon. The hospital is in shambles though. looks like a bad administration.

Very old hospital. Services are improving. It has department for female , gynecoly, children, Skin. I think Skin is the best department. One lady doctor is there and I show my wife to her. We come from saharanpur. She treated my wife. No other skin doctor could but I visit hospital 15 day back and she was not there. I felt bad after coming from so long distance. Hospital should have website so people can see on Google and plan. Now I will wait for her to come back. She was in hospital but on covid duty as someone told me.

I've visited this hospital multiple times and I'm quite OK with the arrangements here. I believe the delegation of ownership and preparation of duty roster is an internal matter of the hospital. If for some reason, any staff or doctor feels that injustice has been done to them, then I believe, such issues should be raised by the person concerned, through proper channel. Thanks.

I am a journalist and went to this hospital for my wife's checkup. As I was referred by another doctor so I visited this gynae doctor here. She was well qualified and treated my wife well but I opted for operation in a private hospital. Some things are really bad about the hospital despite qualified doctors and staff. Being a journalist I investigated and asked questions here and there and inferred the following: 1.Doctors and staff are qualified and experienced. 2.Hospital building is very old and not clean. As I investigated the responsibility of cleaning the hospital lie with the sanitation worker or supervisor. The supervisor has to be supervised by the chief administrator. Now there are 2 main administrators. The Medical superintendent (Dr. Suman) and a Chief medical officer (Dr. Gautam). From what I came to know Dr. Gautam does not do any work despite being second in command. So what both the administrators do is to assign some doctors the work which they were supposed to do. In this some Dr. Jai is the doctor who needs to supervise the sanitation supervisor. This seems absurd. How can a clinical doctor supervise sanitation. Should he see patients or do the work of administrator who is sitting idle. I also saw stray dogs roaming inside the hospital. 3.The hospital needs a new administrator instead of MS and Dr. Gautam. Also there has to be a separate staff to do administration job. I have seen in corporate hospitals. There are managers to do that job. I know North MCD has no money even to pay their staff but overburdening them with administration will lead to patient mis management and public will suffer. 4.The doctor will also suffer because of extra responsibility of administration work as he is not trained to do it. How can a administrator get up one day and ask the clinical doctor to perform any type of work without training. The hospital and public is bound to suffer and that may be reason why this hospital and other North MCD hospitals are suffering despite good doctors. 5.I also came to know that because of covid, doctors are not allowed adequate leaves but I also came to know that Dr. Gautam and MS remain on months of leaves and no body is there to check on them. So basically they are giving their work to other clinical doctors so that they can enjoy their holidays. 6.So people do go this hospital for treatment but expect a much lower than ‘sarkari’ atmosphere and dirty floors ….thanks to the administrators sitting idle.

One of the oldest MCD Maternity hospital, opened on 13 March 1939. Departments available - gynaecology, neonatology, pediatrics and family planning. Services are improving year by year but still need more cleanliness, better food in wards and change of mattress. People trust this hospital for normal or cesarean delivery because almost all doctors are females.

This is also a Covid Vaccination Centre, It took me 5:30 min to vaccinate my Mother (10th May) It is very poorly managed site, three time we have to get into the Que where there is no Socail Distancing in place.. These guys couldn't even manage to vaccinate 250 people in a day. Don't make fool of the people and mockery of the whole system, if the people on the ground don't have the experience get someone experience to manage the site.
